About this house rental
Mas La Plana has a history of inhabitants in the place since the fifteenth century. The current house is from the 17th century, a part is destined to rural tourism in an apartment rebuilt in 2012. In this one the main signs of the old life of the farmhouse are conserved: the stable, the oven, the economic kitchen, the stone pile, the sink of the room, etc.
The apartment has three double bedrooms and one of them can be enabled for four single beds. It consists of two floors and has two full bathrooms. The living room-kitchen-dining room communicates with the exit of the facade, from where you can contemplate the entire valley with the church of Sant Sadurní in the background. At the entrance, on the ground floor, there is a space for information about the house and the surroundings. In the era is the barbecue, and a shed with table and benches. In the garden area with lawn ample space to play and rest with benches and sun loungers facing the pool. Placed on a plane, you can do walks and excursions.
The apartment has capacity for 8 people and possibility of 2 additional places (Sofa bed)

An amazing place. An hour and a half north of Barcelona and very near Ripoli, lies this peaceful and bucolic retreat from the world. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen and views that don’t stop. My family and I enjoyed two nights here and we would recommend it to anyone. The host and his wife (who live on site) are great and you stay in a renovated 17th century farmhouse passed down in his family. Views from the balcony of the surrounding hills and his cattle (complete with cow bells). There is a small pool, which the kids loved. Seriously, book this place if you will be in the area.

Our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids ages 5-8) stayed here for two nights in August. Let me tell you, it was perfect and we all agreed it was the highlight of our two week trip to Catalonia.
The house is so much more gorgeous than the photos, every detail is well taken care of, the linens, the quality of things, the smells, the beautiful pool, everything.
The location is about 20 minutes from Ripoll, it's definitely a place you want to stay for the day and enjoy the gorgeous scenery and is not easy to go to and from. One day we went to Ribes de Freser to take the train to Nuria, but on a sunny August Saturday the line was over an hour long. We moseyed around Ribes de Freser instead and had a delightful time. There is an old historic bridge on the road that we stopped to take photographs of, and found it was a perfect place to spend the day and do a picnic.
In short--stay here this place is amazing you won't regret it, and a special shout out to Arnua, the kindest most wonderful and helpful person we met on our trip. Our group felt so lucky to have stumbled upon this property. Stay here, you won't regret it.
