About this house rental
Early 20th Century home recently renovated to meet the 21st Century! Charming, spacious, and family oriented home in the historic town of Algonac, Michigan, with views of the St. Clair River--an international waterway--abounds with pleasure boats and freighters. Your view overlooks Russell Island, Michigan and Walpole Island in Ontario, Canada. !NOTE: While we don't by default allow pets, we will consider dogs with certain conditions. Please tell us your situation and we may consider!
The space
Five bedrooms, three baths. Three queen beds, and one full on the second floor, and one queen and one twin on the main floor. Full kitchen, dining room, living room and large sun room overlooking the private yard and river.
Guest access
The entire first and second floor. Note the river can get rough with boat traffic/wake, and the boat wells are not accessible for parking a boat.
Other things to note
600 mb High Speed Wi-Fi and access code provided upon booking. A land line telephone is also provided.

Great location. Plenty of room for a large family. The home had a well stocked kitchen and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The best amenity was the wonderful sunroom facing the river. If we return to the area we would rent again.

My group of 11 rented to celebrate a 40th birthday. The property was clean and large. Check in was exceptional and communication with owner was on point- he answered all of our questions promptly and even ensured he had a fire pit and wood on site for our stay. Beautiful views. House was stocked with pantry staples and then some, plenty of tableware and other supplies! Store close by (walking distance), walkable to Port O Call if your looking for good food and entertainment.
I would highly recommend this property and hope we can plan another trip here again in the future!
