Shop, supermarket 400 m, restaurant 300 m, bus stop 700 m. Golf course (18 hole) 10 km, sailing school 400 m, tennis 1.5 km, riding stable 6.6 km, ice rink 30 km. Nearby attractions: Heeg 9 km, Sloten 10 km, Balk 10 km, Museum Joure (Douwe Egberts) 19 km, Sneek 13 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Friese Meren 2 km. Please note: fishing [permit required]. Additional accommodations can be booked.

I really liked my stay in the Harbour Suite in Woudsend. It's a separated "swimming home" for calm hours, very well equipped and just some hundered meters away from the downtown. The logistics/check-in worked out fine and the fact you got your own boat in front of the terrace is just great! I plan to come back one day.
