An unforgettable stay in the beautiful French countryside

We loved everything - the beautiful pool, the delicious breakfast, our very kind host, our stunning room/ensuite smelling of Lavender, the quiet garden and pond…. It was all perfect! The host went above and beyond to accomodate my gluten intolerance to make us a delicious gluten-free breakfast each morning and provided us with a great authentic French dinner recommendation in the nearby town of Avignon. We can’t wait to come back and would definitely reccomend this stay to all our friends and family. Merci beaucoup!😊🥰

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed! The host is very warm and welcoming—she made breakfast for us every morning. The garden was full of flowers in early July, and we took many beautiful photos. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Fantastic hospitality and a beautiful house!

The room and the pool were fantastic but the real highlight was our host, Catherine, with amazing restaurant recommendations, ideas for day trips and a home made breakfast each morning (incl leaving a tray of essentials for us when we had an early train to catch on our last morning!)

A charming B&B for a relaxing stay

We had a very pleasant stay at this charming B&B with beautiful gardens and a swimming pool. The hostess was very friendly and helpful in planning sightseeing activities. The breakfast was amazing, with wide variety of home-made food and fresh fruits. We can't recommend this place enough.

Despite the few negatives, still a 10 in my book.

Spacious. Spotless. Every amenity necessary for American tastes, even a small freezer in refrigerator. The largest grocery store I have ever been in 5 minute drive away yet property is secluded. Excellent air conditioning in bedroom and living area. Modern bathroom with many towels and bathrobes. Italianate pool with atmosphere and shaded tables adjacent for a light meal. Gracious host and hostess, who respected our privacy. Convenient for short day trips to most Provence highlights.

Washing machine extremely small and inadequate spin cycle. Clothesline outside and with Provence weather, clothes take 2 days to dry unless we’ll wrung out by hand. As everywhere in Provence, mosquitos abound, so heavy duty insecticides are required. TV with only French channels. Some photos display private family areas not accessible to guests.

Beautiful place with wonderful hosts who couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a fabulous stay in Provence. The gîte was perfect for us, the pool amazing, the gardens and house full of charm. Sincere thanks.

La Banastiere is a dream!! We stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed it to the fullest. It is a perfect little romantic hideaway, run by a very nice French family with lots of love. The property is very well maintained, the breakfast is sweet and delicious, the garden amazing to enjoy some quite time. We will come back!

Un séjour de rêve en pleine nature à deux pas d’Avignon.

La Banastière est un havre de paix entre lauriers, tilleuls et une très belle piscine. Catherine et son mari sont adorables et aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes en les régalant avec un délicieux petit déjeuner. A 10 minutes en voiture d’Avignon, l’emplacement est idéal pour sillonner la région. La chambre est spacieuse, bien équipée et confortable.
