About this chalet rental
The Chalet RANA is the left part of a double chalets and is surrounded by beautiful mountain chain that runs around the RANA at 1,870 m above sea level in Fischbiel on the Lauchernalp in Lötschental. Fischbiel is a small complex comprising of 30 apartments and -häusern there. The RANA is the starting point for beautiful walks and excursions by car. The chalet is set in an elevated slightly above the road is very sunny and is therefore very much appreciated his reversal of families with children and dogs.
In summer, the RANA is easily accessible via the mountain road from Wiler by car and free parking is available.
In winter, this mountain road is closed for skiing and toboggan runs and getting to the RANA via the Lauchernalp cable car and a small tracked vehicle that combines the Lauchernalp station with Fischbiel. This vehicle runs every 20 min. From Fischbiel to Lauchernalp station and back. The Lauchernalp snow certainty and can until at least Easter each ski and snowboard be driven, as the highest point of the track on the Hockenhorn with 3'111 m asl is located. Very popular is the 25-minute toboggan from the Lauchernalp to Wiler down.
The RANA is a cozy and practically furnished chalet in which you feel comfortable immediately. In the basement of the entrance area with plenty of space for clothes and shoes, two bedrooms with 5 beds (1 Extra bed for a maximum of 1 child can also be added to the master bedroom), a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and a room with washer and dryer , Upstairs is a large living-dining room with a spacious open kitchen. Here you will find: dishwasher, ceramic glass hob, oven, large fridge, freezer, Expresso- and filter coffee machine and fondue or Raclette utensils. The living room consists of a sofa, a dining corner seat, a flat screen TV, a DVD player, a stereo system and a cozy wood stove. For added convenience, the second Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. On the balcony with table and 4 chairs, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Bietschhorn, Lötschenlücke, the long glacier, the Weritzalp as well as the larch forests. Here on the balcony the sun shines in the morning until about 14 clock. In the afternoon until the evening, enjoy the evening sun and views of the Hockenhorn, the Petersgrat and on the Lauchernalp. The patio is equipped with garden furniture and a kettle grill.
On foot you are in 15 minutes and by car in 5 minutes on the Lauchernalp, there you will find a grocery store with all the necessary stuff (meat can be ordered), a sports shop, kiosk, ATM, and 5 restaurants and bar.
