About this house rental
Cozy vacation home on the Baltic Sea in a farmhouse-style setting with a garden, a sunny wooden deck, and many small, unique details. Feel free to check out our Instagram profile, ferienhaus_schoenberg. There you’ll find current photos and a glimpse of what you can look forward to.
Floor plan:
The lower level of the house features an open-concept living area and a central wood-burning stove that provides cozy warmth. Firewood is available at the vacation home and can be used for a small flat fee.
The entryway is spacious enough for jackets, shoes, and whatever else you might need to bring along. There’s even room for a stroller here.
The lower level also includes a guest restroom, which is accessible via the hallway.
On the upper floor, there is a large bathroom, two rooms, a 140x200 cm bed, a 180x200 cm bed, and a 140 cm-long crib (upon request, an additional fold-out bed can be provided in the larger room), a walk-in closet, and a small desk in the hallway for working.
In the basement, there is an utility room with a washing machine and drying facilities, as well as a spacious pantry shelf.
Outdoor area:
In the summer, the large French doors leading to the terrace can be opened wide, allowing you to enjoy the garden with all your senses. Flower beds, countless roses, and a large cherry tree with a beach chair beneath it are all part of the property. There is also a herb garden, which our guests are welcome to use and which we hope will bring them just as much joy as it does us. The garden is shielded from view by a fence and a hedge, so children can play here safely.
Amenities:
The vacation home is equipped with child-friendly amenities. There are safety gates at the top and bottom of the staircase that can be installed as needed.
We use our vacation home ourselves and have made sure to provide plenty of dishes, high-quality pots, high-quality cooking utensils, and enough glasses. We’re always open to suggestions for improvement. The cooktop consists of two induction burners and four gas burners. Two children’s high chairs (TripTrap) are available, as well as two high chairs for babies and toddlers.
Overall, we value a mix of new and vintage furniture.
Parking:
We live one house down and share a spacious driveway with you, where a parking spot for the vacation home is available. Additional parking spaces are located nearby. The front yard offers plenty of variety in every season.
Shopping:
The vacation home is located in the town center. Bakeries, flower shops, supermarkets, and discount stores are about 400 meters away on foot.
Recreation:
A small playground is 50 meters away.
The beach is easily accessible, just 4 kilometers away via dirt roads. The easiest way to get there is by bike. Children can ride their bikes here on their own with peace of mind, as there’s hardly any car traffic. There’s a bike rental shop in town.
You can also take the bus to the beach. There’s a bus stop just 200 meters away.
Looking for something other than the beach? There are numerous swimming lakes nearby. One of our personal favorites is the Pülsen swimming area on Lake Selenter. Sandy, shallow water, a playground, and virtually no traffic let you enjoy a carefree day at the lake. By the way, the lake is perfect for SUP beginners.
Towels and linens:
Towels, bed linens, dish towels, and dishcloths are provided for your stay in the vacation home.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS! The towels from the vacation home are not intended for the beach.

We’ll clean the place for you after your departure. Nevertheless, a vacuum cleaner, broom set, and sustainable cleaning supplies are provided.
