About this villa rental
Villa located in El Gastor, province of Cadiz, Andalucia.
This holiday villa is blessed with a top location, surrounded by olive trees spread all over the smooth hills typical of the countryside of Cadiz, and overlooking the Reservoir of Zahara – El Gastor. It is so close to the villa that you will feel as you can reach out to it while swimming in the Infinity pool. This two-storey house can accommodate up to six people, being the living area on the ground floor, and three cosy bedrooms on the first floor. Two of the bedrooms are equipped with one double bed each, while the third is furnished with two single beds. On the same floor, you will also find a bathroom with shower. On the contrary, the ground floor is characterised by an open-space concept, whose rustic structure mingles with the modern furniture and immaculate walls. A snug sofa will allow you to take power naps, whereas the completely equipped galley corner is sure to make you test your abilities as a potential chef. There is heating throughout the villa.
The outdoor area is as stunning as you can see in the pictures. The patio that surrounds the villa, filled with colourful flowerpots, leads the sight towards the private pool. Let your eyes wander until they meet the Reservoir of Zahara – El Gastor: the peaceful atmosphere you can soak up here will make your holidays even more unforgettable. You can also rejoice in the same views directly from the covered porch, where a dining table is located. Imagine having breakfast here, while you get lost in your thoughts as you can’t figure out a better place to spend your holidays.
The access to the villa is made possible by a 100 mt-long unpaved lane.

If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place, this is the right one. Every evening, you can enjoy stunning sunsets, and the view of the mountains from the yard is breathtaking.
The home is very well equipped and comfortable - you could easily stay here for a longer time. Ronda is only a 25-minute drive away if you need to do some grocery shopping.
Julio and his family were incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. We had some trouble with our rental car and needed to take a bus to Seville. Julio not only helped us find the right bus stop, but his father even drove us there, as the road wasn’t great for walking.
When we arrived, there was a lovely welcome surprise waiting for us in the kitchen :)
If you don’t want to share the yard with lizards, be kind to the cats who visit - they’ll thank you by taking care of the other little “visitors”! The cats also give the house a special, homey vibe :)
You can walk to the nearby village of El Gastor in about 25 minutes. Just keep in mind that you’ll need good driving skills - the driveway to the house is quite steep and narrow.

Julio was friendly and helpful—we were able to communicate thru our basic knowledge of each other’s language and a translation app.
The property is well maintained and the kitchen is well-stocked. The view is stunning, and if you are looking for a quiet, isolated getaway, this place is a great choice.

If you want tranquility and stunning views this villa will not dissappoint. Very handy short drive into the pretty village with some small supermarkets which stocked all the essentials you will need for your stay. The villa itself was a little dated and could do with some tlc but not enough to spoil your stay. All in all we enjoyed our time there and made full use of the infinity pool with its stunning views of the mountains. Thank you to the spanish owners for being helpful, they spoke no English but we managed with translate to communicate and get advise on the occasions we needed too.
