We loved it. The rooms are very spacious, the home is beautiful, and the area was perfect. It was extremely quiet in the neighborhood after 9 p.m., which was very appreciated. The local shops and various restaurants are less than 5 minutes away. We were there for my sister to have back surgery the following morning. We only got to stay one night but I could see being very comfortable if we'd stayed a week or longer. It's convenient to the Interstates but just the right distance away to have a private, quiet stay. You can't get that in a hotel.

We had a great stay at the Vulcan View Cottage. Location was close to UAB and downtown dining. The house is cozy, clean and was perfect for our party of 6. Thanks for a great stay.
