About this cabin rental
Welcome to Splashing Bear Lodge!
This family and pet friendly pool cabin was newly built in 2018 and offers top notch amenities for guests to enjoy. This cabin has 4 en-suite bedrooms, and sleeps 12. The property has an arcade room, a gourmet kitchen, a heated swimming pool, and spectacular views! The 3-story cabin is located in the prestigious Black Bear Ridge Resort community which offers a swimming pool, spa amenities, and wedding chapel on-site.
The cabin is 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge Parkway, and minutes from popular hiking trails, waterfalls, restaurants, Dollywood/Splash Country, and many other local attractions.
The main level is open concept with a spacious living room equipped with plush leather furniture, a sleeper sofa, a stacked stone fireplace, a large smart HDTV, and high speed Wi-Fi (600 mbps download) that extends throughout the cabin. The modern gourmet kitchen comes fully stocked and features top of the line range stainless appliances, a wine cooler, granite counter tops, and counter top seating for 3. The dining area offers two tables and seating for 10. The main level deck is perfect for a day of relaxation with rocking chairs and breathtaking views.
The upper level of the cabin has 4 bedrooms with en-suite baths, 3 of the bedrooms offer a king log bed, while the 4th bedroom is equipped with a spacious queen over queen bunk bed. Each room has its own flat screen HDTV with access to popular streaming channels.
The lower level of the cabin is made for family fun. Take a dip in the heated indoor swimming pool or relax in the outdoor spa located on the lower deck. The pool room offers a 65-inch HDTV with surround sound, and the lower level also boasts an arcade room with multiple games. The lower level also houses a separate room for the efficiency washer and dryer.
For your pets, we provide a large dog cage to save you the inconvenience of bringing one from home.
While in town some popular attractions include Ober Gatlinburg, The Island, Anakeesta Gatlinburg, and the arts and Crafts community in Gatlinburg.

There is no access to the Black Bear Ridge community pool or amenities center.
The indoor pool is cleaned every Tuesday and Friday between the hours of 8-5. The pool company has a unique door code and will let themselves in and out even if the cabin is rented.

The rooms were clean, and the house was as described. The host was very quick to respond to our messages and willing to send people out to troubleshoot some issues we had, and said they would look into the issues after our departure. While we opted to not have anyone come out and the issues were mostly minimal we did experience a few things; all but one bedroom tv did not stay connected to the internet, making the TV's not functional. The ceiling fan in bedroom 4 wobbled that it ended up disturbing the person sleeping in that room. Bedroom 2 had some old/missing rubber seal on the shower door which made a mess of water on the floor. Again these issues weren't a huge deal and we made due. The views were amazing and couldn't be beat. Enjoyed our morning coffee and evening drinks out on the decks. There are alarms on all the doors on the lower level, while I appreciate the safety, the alarms got really annoying after a short while. It would be nice to have the option to turn them off especially with groups of older kids and adults. Out on the porches we noticed a ton of carpenter bees flying around, not sure if this is the season for them or if they are always out. They didn't bother us and we ended up just watching them fly around. You may want to keep an eye on little ones because the female bees can sting if they are bothered. Overall we had a great stay and would love to come back again!

Extremely clean, great amenities, including pool and hot tub with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our two families. Very quiet during the week with a livelier crowd over the weekend. Close to Pigeon Forge while at the same time feeling like we were a step away from the hustle and bustle. Excellent communication with host, we enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Loved this home. it was very clean and looked like it did in pictures. we had 8 women rent it but were disappointed to find out that the bed situation did not match what was shown on VRBO. it was listed that the 4th room had a twin bunk and 2 queen beds but upon check in we noticed the 2 queen beds were absent and they were a queen bunk instead. for the price we paid individually and the ages we are it was disappointing to say the least. I called Sylvia the owners daughter in hopes of fixing it and she got extremely aggravated and hung up the phone on me. the communication was very poor and did not make sense due to their lack of correct advertisement.
