About this house rental
Welcome to this beautifully decorated country house with a garden, barbecue, ping-pong table, and pool table. The city center is a 15-minute train or car ride away. Are dogs welcome? They can run around in the nearby forest. The cottage has a rustic (country-style) decor, with a stereo system and a TV. Up to five people can stay in two spacious rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub.
We offer private guided tours of the city by car and provide insider tips on attractions. The area features a go-kart track, many restaurants serving local and international cuisine, as well as bars and clubs. There are two swimming pools and the Friedrichsfelde Zoo within walking distance. A ferry service is just a few minutes’ drive away, and the Spree is a five-minute walk away. Parking is free on the property. Up to 7 bicycles. Our guests keep coming back time and time again.
Many visit the nearby radio station, which is within walking distance.
Additional information: The house is wheelchair-accessible since there are no steps and everything is on one level. Near the property, there is a good tennis club. A leisure and recreation center for children, teens, and adults is located in the area surrounding the vacation home (FEZ), featuring a swimming pool, the Astronaut Center, a theater, and a sports center. Here, too, classes in various artistic disciplines are offered: pottery, mosaics, etc. The zoo, with its rare animal species and botanical garden, is a 10-minute walk or a 15-minute tram ride away. The first-division soccer team FC Union regularly plays at the “Alte Förster” stadium, a ten-minute drive from our home. Rock, pop, and other music concerts at the Fesi Amphitheater and the Karlshorst Sports Arena—both of which are right next door—are great alternatives. Hiking trails are right next to the vacation home. A bike rental service has been set up right here. Up to 7 bicycles are available.

The lively neighborhood of Friedrichshain is nearby: Here you’ll find the bear blankets on Simon-Dach-Strasse, which you can reach quickly from our house by tram.
In season, we recommend not only a boat ride along the Spree River near our home, but also boat trips on the Spree, the Dahme, Havel, or Müggelsee, or day trips with the White Fleet on the shallow waters in and around Berlin.

Clean, well-appointed cottage in a small, very quiet neighborhood. Hosts were lovely. About a 15 minute walk from transportation. Very nice!

Excellent location, particularly if you have dogs (who were made very welcome) extensive woods on your doorstep. Very well connected by public transport (15 min walk to Tram then U5, 20 min to S3 bahn, both direct to Hauptbahnof via Alexanderplatz or Unter den Linden). Property warm in winter, though marked condensation on windows. Bedroom and sitting room a reasonable size. Lack of really comfortable chairs or good lights for reading. Monika friendly, responsive and a good communicator - which was important in sorting out several extra charges (hence the slightly reduced rating on accuracy of online description). Kitchen quite basic, we did not try to use the tiny washing machine, went out to the laundromat as needed.

Check in process was easy! Home was clean and secluded from main house on property. All you need is there.
Will need to be comfortable using metro if you’re visiting from afar, as it’s not close to Cory center.
Overall, very great place!

This was a decent set up. I think its better for a couple verse family. There is nothing necessarily wrong with this VRBO ive just stayed in many over the years and this was one I probably wouldn't return just because we are a family of 5 and its cramped. My only real complaint with the property is the "washing machine" was about the size of a microwave and we couldn't really use it. It would be good for washrags. The furnishings could use an update but many vrbos are the same. The location was great and the yard and outdoor set up is beautiful. The owner was really helpful and very pleasant.
