Come enjoy a get-away weekend in the heart of North Carolina wine country, sample some great wines, walk in the vineyards, and relax with the spectacular sunsets over the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are dog-friendly, with a great fenced-in play area! Located just off I-77 and I-74 near Mt Airy, and only 9 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway, our winery house at Round Peak Vineyards is a great stopping point even if you are just passing through! A free wine tasting for up to 8 people is included. There is also an 18 hole disc golf course on site.
Round Peak Vineyards is located in the Yadkin Valley AVA, sitting at 1300 ft. in elevation in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We currently have 11 acres of vineyards producing 12 French and Italian varietals. All of our award-winning wines are estate bottled, using only the grapes grown in our vineyard. Come taste our award-winning wines and tour our winery! Then enjoy the many activities in the surround areas, including over 30 nearby wineries.

I rented this cabin because it was one floor, most rentals in the area were two story. This trip was for my 92-year-old mother to visit with her sister. There were 5 of us--my husband, son, 4-year-old granddaughter and 92-year-old mother. I also needed pet friendly. Cabin was clean and spacious. I would highly recommend for couples or girls weekend, not so much for families. Bathroom doors were narrow and my mom's rollator would not clear. No hand rail in bathroom. Kitchen table and chairs were high top. Mom was unable to sit at table, but there was a small desk and she ate there. We walked over to the winery with our 4-year-old granddaughter. Unfortunately, they do not offer a non-alcoholic slushie for kids. I had an alcoholic slushie which was very good. We were not offered our complimentary wine flight. They have disc golf. It would be nice if they would add a couple of swings. If it had been just my husband and I, we would have enjoyed it a lot more.

This vacation cabin is the best of the best. You will not find a better location than Round Peak Vineyard VBRO. We have stayed here 4 or 5 times over the last 2 years because it is our best option for price, location and accommodations. Large cabins with everything you will need. We will be back in October to continue our adventure in North Carolina. Thank you Ken.

Wonderful Mother’s Day weekend getaway with 3 generations in our party of 7. Stunning location surrounded by friendly staff and quality people! For a family that likes to cook, this home was very accommodating! From outdoor patio sitting to indoor meals around a family table, this was a 10/10. To travel with your fur babies in a pet friendly environment provides peace of mind. Take the time to sip the wine, hear good music and make some memories. Thanks for the great stay!
