Duck Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage, internally modernised and tastefully decorated to create a warm, charming base close to the restaurants, pubs, shops and attractions of Anstruther. St Andrews and the other coastal villages are only a few minutes drive, with Edinburgh just over an hour away by car. Ideal for couples seeking a romantic hideaway, outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers, families looking for a rural retreat, and golfers looking to mark their cards at any one of the many premier courses, including the famous Old Course at St Andrews.
The cottage caters for the occasional Scottish rainy day as well, with free Wifi, an extensive music, film and literary library available to fill the odd moment, and a large HD TV with Amazon Firestick and Freeview HD channels. A well equipped kitchen encourages gourmets to experiment with the wonderful local produce. Unlike many holiday homes, Duck Cottage welcomes well-behaved pets at no extra charge - I want your furry family members to have as good a break away as you!

We stayed we washed, we ate, we slept so I guess it did the Job.Area is lovely, accomodation is a quaint old cottage, that doesn’t have modern luxuries but that was OK.Jonathon (The owner) was great in his messages to me and I have no doubt he is a nice guy.Duck Cottage did the job for us and was a fair price for accomodation in a very upmarket location.

Beautiful old cottage opposite the old Kirk with a tower built in the 15th century. As are all the old villages in East Neuk on the Fife coast, it is a quiet, picturesque & peaceful. Cottage was very clean, all amenities provided including a carton of milk in the fridge & a packet of tea biscuits.
