About this apartment rental
Charming lakefront building built in 1903 as a boys gymnasium, converted into 12 separate apartment units in the 1950's. The 2 bedroom unit, located on the ground floor facing the lake with spectacular views. This property sits on a spacious lakefront lot, in a residential neighborhood.
This ground floor unit includes two bedrooms and, 1.5 baths. The master bedroom has a connecting powder room and a queen size bed. The second bedroom includes a full size bed. The main entrance and dining room are sunken, so there is a step to access the kitchen, living room and hallway.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher and a fridge.
The patio, directly outside the front door faces the lake. A bar with stools is set outside on the patio for you to sit enjoy coffee or wine, while watching the sunrise or sunset.
Kayaks, paddleboard and canoe is provided for your use.
There is a coin operated laundry facility on site. Laundry supplies are available. A community barbecue is also available for your use, except it is closed during the winter months. There is a fire pit by the lake, you will enjoy relaxing by it, roasting hot dogs, making s'mores. This along with the dock, and bbq are for community use, our guests and our tenants.
The dock (for guests and tenants only) is yours to enjoy the lake for relaxing and swimming.
This is an older building where we have permanent tenants that also live on the property. During the summer our tenants and their guests enjoy the facilities provided. Please be aware if you book you are sharing the common areas and especially during the summer do not mind people having fun on the lake. Again, this is an older building.

Spectacular view from the front door. The property is very thoughtfully well stocked with everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Check-in/check-out instructions were perfectly laid out which made the process seamless. Would definitely stay again.

Nice space with a wonderful backyard right on the lake. The unit is separate from the rest of the building and is accessed around back. The apartment is a little dated in spots but nicely kept up and clean, with a well-furnished kitchen. It was a good spot for our family.

First off I will say the host were an absolute delight and very accommodating to all the odd needs we requested and even provided some nice places to go visit in the area . The view of this place is so beautiful and relaxing if you love lake side and all the activity’s it provides this is the place for you. I came here with my best friend and later in our stay some old friends that we haven’t seen in a long while and the apartment accommodated all 4 of us well. The kitchen was full equipped maby certain utensils could be updated as some were rather worn out but they surely got the job done. We had 2 disappointments with the place the first more than like was me reading to fast but I thought it was an entire home but it was a home broken up to multiple rental options in the home and we didn’t expect there to other tenants but we acclimated quickly. The 2nd disappointment with the apartment was there was no AC I was honestly devastated when we were told this as I’m a person who loves to be in colder temperatures but luckily the outside temperature throughout our stay was on the cool side so we just had to open some windows and it was the cold I loved one recommendation for the owners of the home is to invest in some more window screens a few spiders found there way in but we took them back outside so no worry’s but for future guest some screens would be beneficial As far as that goes the stay was delightful and I look forward to returning! And I think those interested should!

Outdoor space is just terrific. Indoor could have gotten an excellent review if not for lack of detail that made the stay less than fully enjoyable. Coffee maker was very dirty and no filters were provided. Coffee provided seemed fresh enough but the container it was in was just nasty. After trying it once we ended up going to Starbucks everyday at $11 a day. Adds up. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were kind of flat and need replaced. There was an obvious hole in the sheets on one of the beds. Shampoo and soap was provided in large plastic pump bottles which we really don't like. I wouldnt mention that except the shampoo pump bottle was broken and didn't work. Shower curtain was not connected to almost half it's hangers and there was somebody's glasses hanging from it. Not a big deal but suggests to me a lack of attention to detail when cleaning the bathrooms. There was misinformation in the email that gives check in and general property info. More attention to detail and we could easily give this place an excellent rating but as it was we couldn't help feeling disappointed.
