About this house rental
Spacious, beautiful downtown home with all of the amenities perfect for couples, a family, families or large group of friends, and great for entertaining. Convenient to all that historic Natchez has to offer, including the many plantations, restaurants, shopping, the bluff and Under the Hill. Long driveway with front and back access which can accommodate parking for multiple cars. Circa 1895 home recently renovated with great center hall and formal living and dining rooms. Large den and kitchen with island that seats 4 with all of the amenities. Washer and dryer off of the kitchen. Many TVs with Directv throughout and ATT U-verse internet. The house can easily sleep 12, with 5 large bedrooms and a playroom with daybed with trundle and 4 full bathrooms. Large master bedroom with queen bed and walk-in closet with tons of hanging and drawer space and a beautiful, spacious bathroom with dual sinks and separate walk-in shower and tub. Two other downstair bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a queen bed, share a full bathroom. The upstairs has a large den with a daybed with trundle and two bedrooms with queen beds and each with their own full bathroom. Back porch and large, fenced-in backyard with patio with seating area and grassed play area. Backs up to huge field and wooded area (many deer sightings) so it is downtown living with a country feel.

Location and size of property was great. Had some great family bonding times, especially with the younger adults.The house smelled as if it had been closed up a while. The 1st bedroom with the twin beds has a strong odor and needed cleaning and refreshing. The torn rugs need replacing. Peeling paint outside the house and the porch. Steps need pressure washing. Son slipped on algae on steps.

The area was very quaint and the property was gorgeous. My wife really enjoyed having her coffee in the back patio while admiring the birds and views.

The house was great, and we all enjoyed ourselves. We were a group of 1 Brother and 3 Sisters and spouses a total of 8 people and were all very comfortable. I would recommend. Only 2 problems were no ice available, and I made our reservations 3-1/2 months ahead of time and would not give me the address until 4 days prior to arrival. We were all coming from different areas and would have been easier to know the address ahead of time - more like a month out. Oh and 1 of the coffee pots was full of mold.
