About this bed and breakfast
This guest house / studio apartment is on our fenced property close to Mesa, US-60 and Loop 202. The building is separate from the main house. Main house is not part of this listing. Pool is not heated. Distance between the 2 buildings is 44 feet. We can easily be reached.
This is not a one bedroom apartment with a separate bedroom but a small studio with a pantry kitchen and a queen size bed. Pantry kitchen features a countertop stove with 2 burners, a Keurig capsule coffee machine, microwave, mini oven and an espresso machine. Keep in mind that this is not a full kitchen and not suitable for large meals. Appliances can only be used individually since they are on a single 20 amp breaker. Small 110 volt washer-dryer combo in the bathroom. This machine is for small loads only. Dryer takes more time than a regular 220 volt model. This machine is a little bit noisy. Quiet Samsung refrigerator with icemaker. This place is very quiet, safe and private. High speed internet. TV with local channels. No cable TV but there is a Voice controlled Roku Express+ which gives you access to Netflix. Not suitable for pets. Since some guests are allergic to animal hair, we don’t make exceptions.
Guests receive gate opener and the key upon arrival. Keep in mind that this is not a self check in property. You have to let us know the approximate time of arrival and keep us updated since we have to meet you at the gate to give you the gate opener. You will be responsible for lost key or lost gate opener - if key or gate opener is not returned. Guest agrees to pay $45,- for a new lockset (for the main door and the security door) if he/ she loses the key. Guest will be billed $ 50,- if the gate opener is not returned. This includes the cost of installing new locks and reprogramming the gate opener. This is for our safety and the safety of other guests. We don't want any guns / firearms on our property. Guest will not carry any firearms on the property and advise visitors of our firearms policy. Absolutely no smoking inside the studio but smoking is ok on the patio or anywhere outside. Pool was built in 10/2025 and isn’t heated. Once a heater is installed we will update the listing.
Pool Rules: 1.) Absolutely no glass inside the pool area !! There are plastic cups in the kitchen cabinet. In case of a glass breakage we have to call the pool company to completely drain the pool. This is the only way to make sure that the are no broken glass pieces somewhere at the bottom. The cost of draining and replacing the water is $1000,-
2.) There is no lifeguard. Guests are fully responsible for their safety. Children have to be supervised all the time. 3.) This pool is not a diving pool. Deepest point is approximately 70“. No jumping. GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR POTENTIAL INTERNATIONAL CARD SURCHARGE IF USING AN INTERNATIONAL DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD.

The host was welcoming. The amenities were beautiful and security gate helped me feel safer. I thought the whole place was nice looking and once it's completed, it'll really look great.

We had a very good stay. Steve was very welcoming and the property was a nice home base for a busy weekend.

When we arrived at the property Steve let me into the house and told me that he and Suki were no longer living on the property which would have been nice to know before we got there. Steve brought me into the house and also told me that the previous renter broke the washer/dryer so I could use the washer in their house, if needed. We actually packed light because we were told there was a washer and dryer in the unit.We actually saw, who we thought was Steve the next morning and after that never saw him again. I had to clean the microwave so we could use it. I used a brush we found on the property to sweep off the patio so we could set up the patio furniture to use on nice evenings. Also, cob webs in some of the corners.The yard was filled with trash of many, many plant containers, ladder, hoses laying in the driveway, etc. Quite the eyesore. It could be a beautiful property if someone cleaned up the yard and trimmed the trees.
