SALE THRU April 2024: book 3 or more nights, get 1 night FREE. A Tickfaw River rental with Hot tub! After hurricane Ida damage, the Reel McCoy River Retreat is back and now has 4 bedrooms plus a bunkroom, 3.5 bathrooms, game room (with pool table/ice maker/big screen tv), covered downstairs seating/play area that overlooks the river, fish cleaning station and pier on the banks of the Tickfaw River. Our lighthouse camp has a fantastic view of the Louisiana Tickfaw River that you do not want to miss! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Great river fun for all ages!
Near New Orleans and Baton Rouge our rental is perfect for a week long family vacation or even a weekend getaway. With the moss filled cypress trees and nearby Cajun cuisine, you will really get a taste of Louisiana culture! The Reel McCoy River Retreat is located on the main river between Tin Lizzy's and the Prop Stop (near Lake Maurepas)!
If you come to the “Reel McCoy River Retreat” for an adventure, you can participate in many watersports right in front of the camp. You can fish from the deck and swim, tube, kneeboard, ski, wakeboard, etc. You can play pool in the game room! Or you can watch the activity from the deck on the banks of the river. Our entire family has had a blast on the Tickfaw River for the past 20 years & I'm sure your family will too!
If you come to relax, you can enjoy a nice, quiet sunrise/sunset with a great view! You can read a book with the peaceful surroundings. You can soak in the hot tub overlooking the river. You can bring inflatables and relax in the water! You can take pictures of the Louisiana scenery and may be lucky enough to see one of the several American bald eagles that call the Tickfaw river their home.

We absolutely loved our stay. Only problem was, it wasn’t a long enough stay. We are already trying to plan another trip and bring a boat next time. Perfect location for it. Teri was a great host and very responsive.The house had everything we needed and was very clean.

Our experience at this home was amazing. What a great place to have a family get together. This is my second time to rent and I am looking forward to the next time I can rent it. Love everything about it!!!
