The Ankerplatz apartment is located on the 1st floor, is allergy-friendly, and has two bedrooms that can accommodate up to four people. On the large, furnished southeast-facing balcony—complete with a patio umbrella and a beautiful view over the fields—you can relax and sunbathe, read a book in peace, enjoy the fresh air, or have a glass of wine in the evening. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. A parking space is included with the apartment. You can park your bicycles right next to the house. A washing machine and dryer are available for a fee (the private laundry room is located in the neighboring house).
This apartment is laid out as follows: LIVING AREA (a sofa, 2 armchairs, a coffee table, satellite TV, radio, internet, radio, books), southeast-facing balcony with patio furniture, a beach chair, and two lounge chairs, fully equipped KITCHEN WITH DINING AREA (including a dining table with 2 chairs and a corner bench, dishwasher, microwave, oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, toaster, egg cooker, cutlery, and pots), BEDROOM with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a wardrobe, a BEDROOM with two single beds (each 90 x 200 cm), a wardrobe, and a desk, BATHROOM with shower, toilet, window, towel warmer, sink, mirror cabinet, and hair dryer, as well as a HALLWAY with a small coat rack. Pets and smoking are not permitted in the apartment.
In the village, near the house, you’ll find: a bakery, a farm stand with fresh milk and cheese made on-site, a café, a bus stop, the West Coast Art Museum, three horseback riding stables (at one of which you can book mudflat and field rides), a large playground, and an electric vehicle charging station.
On the property’s own beach meadow in Utersum, you can breathe in the fresh North Sea air, soak up the sun, and take a refreshing dip in the sea. If you feel like it, you can also cast your line at any time at a private fishing pond (about 1 km from the house).



The Dorfschmiede house is situated in a very quiet location on the outskirts of the idyllic Frisian village of Alkersum, in the heart of the island of Föhr. It features 3 vacation apartments (Ankerplatz, Seestern, and Seehund) and can accommodate a total of eight people. Behind the house lies a large pasture where two ponies, Erwin and Hannes, look forward to your visit and would love to make friends with you and your children. On the property’s own beach meadow in Utersum, you can breathe in the fresh North Sea air, soak up the sun, and take a refreshing dip in the sea. If you’d like, you can also cast your line at any time at a private fishing pond (about 1 km from the house) and go fishing. If you’d like to do some laundry, there’s a laundry room in the building next door with a washing machine and a dryer (for a fee).
