About this apartment rental
Come enjoy this country retreat in Nashville! We are a family of six living on a rare piece of property In Davidson county. Located on seven acres. Close drive to downtown. Private basement apartment with separate entrance, private bedroom with king size bed. Fully stocked kitchen with a stove, microwave, blender, refrigerator, and coffee bar. Beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. Loaded with extra amenities such as drinks, snacks, and extra toiletries. The sofa is a pull out queen. I wash everything! I wash the sofa slip cover between guests, the duvet cover, and everything else you might touch so you can feel right at home. The basement is completely social distanced. We often never even get a glimpse of our guests.
Our family of six sometimes sounds like a family of six, but we are upstairs where you cannot hear even footsteps from about 10 until 7am every day.

This was our 50th Anniversary and chose this location after reading reviews. This apartment was just right for us and Leta provided us a small bottle of wine to celebrate our 50thIt is a perfect place to stay when in the Nashville area. Truly a gem! All the comforts of home were provided in this well-appointed space. Leta is a super host with responsive communication to all questions and recommendations. The walkout basement "apartment" is located in a lovely, safe suburb with lush surroundings that transport you away from the busy crowds, yet it is close enough to everything you need. The patio was perfect for morning coffee, lazy afternoons, and firefly sightings in the evening. This was one of the best rentals we have stayed in regards to access, cleanliness, and comfort. This will be our go-to place when we're back in town to visit relatives.

First and foremost- this is a basement unit. We could not tell this when booking, and had we realized we would have looked elsewhere as we were traveling with a baby. The hosts were lovely, and it was clear a lot of thought and consideration has gone into this space. We appreciated all of the accommodations (pack and play, toys, high chair) that make traveling with a baby easier. However. We had noise issues daily when staying here. The house above is fully occupied with a busy family and every movement can be heard from this unit. Heavy footsteps and stomping woke our baby one night, and we reached out to the host to remedy the situation. She was lovely and apologetic. This continued throughout our stay unfortunately and even occurred most mornings. At 6:30 AM on thanksgiving for example, loud activity woke us up. Dog barking, stomping, toilets flushing and even voices can be heard from this unit. We understand this is a family home and things happen, but we were assured before our stay that there had never been a noise complaint. It became clear after we reached out the first time that they are just a noisier bunch and not much can be done. We were eager to return home as we aren’t used to such noise. We wish this had been made clear that it was a basement unit, but recommend it if you are unbothered by noise as the space is lovely.
