About this apartment rental

This studio-like apartment was once the projector room for the town theater. It is located in quiet LaFarge, WI. A small town with charm. The town has a gas station, grocery store, hardware store, and places to eat. Located within minutes of The Kickapoo River and Kickapoo Valley Reserve. There is no shortage of outdoor activities. It was clean and adequate for what I needed. It’s very cute with nice set-up for 2 adult guests. It is not very soundproof and you can hear everything going on in the bar below it. I would think some construction could remedy that situation. Thankfully I wasn’t there much during bar hours of business.

The apartment had not been changed prior to check in, no linens on bed and no linens for the futon. The shower was dirty even after someone came and made the bed. My daughter had to clean the shower, sink and toilet. Gabe said that I would get a price adjustment because of the inconvenience but that did not happen. It was extremely noisy due to the party in the bar downstairs on Friday and Saturday. There were only thin pieces of plywood on the 3 openings/windows overlooking part of the bar.The bar was open until 2 a.m. and the noise lasted beyond closing time. The apartment was very cute and cozy with plenty of dishes and utensils. The electric fireplace and TV were nice and the bed comfortable. I probably would stay there again it was made more sound proof. The people downstairs could also hear our conversations because a lady downstairs responded to a question my daughter asked me about the owners.
