Golf course (18 hole) 25 km, tennis, indoor tennis centre 400 m, walking paths from the house 100 m, cycle lane 500 m, gondola lift 27 km, fishing possibilities 700 m. Nearby attractions: KellerwaldUhr 500 m, Schloss Waldeck 27 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Winterberg 45 km, Willingen 50 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Edersee - Herzhausen 13 km. Hiking paths: Nationalpark Kellerwald 200 m. Please note: car recommended. Neighbourhood highly sensitive to noise. Quietness and good behaviour expected. Some of the holiday homes can be reached via steps. At the park entrance there is a bistro/café with a sun terrace, Sunday breakfast buffet, children's cinema, table football (limited opening times outside of the season). There is also the option of using a washing machine and dryer for a fee.

..... und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Zwei Anmerkungen: die Anfahrt ist mit altem Navi bei ungenügender Beschilderung im Ort echt schwierig - eine Karte auf der homepage oder Erklärungen dort wären hilfreich. Der Hundezaun wird wohl nur sporadisch aufgebaut, so z.B. bei unserer Abreise.

Die Ferienunterkunft war sehr gut in Bezug auf Raumaufteilung, Sauberkeit, Raumgestaltung, ein elektrischer Kamin, zwei Kühlschränke und Gefrierschrank vorhanden sowie WLAN. Ansprechperson immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich gewesen In Frankenau selbst, nur 1,5 km entfernt, sind Bäckereien, ein EDEKA und gute Möglichkeiten zum Essen gehen vorhanden (sehr gute Küche).

Als Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung des Naturparks ist die Unterkunft sehr geeignet. Wir könnten von hier aus wunderbar Fahrradfahren, wandern oder mit dem Auto Ausflugsziele erreichen. Die Ferienanlage ist jetzt fast 45 Jahre alt. Entsprechend ist der Standard der Häuser, insbesondere energetisch. Die Wohnung war mit den Elektroheizung schwierig zu heizen, obwohl keine Minus-temperaturen waren. Fußbö-den, Sanitär und Küchenaus-stattung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Garten war prima für den Hund
