Barefoot Sunrise — Wake Up to a View! Coffee tastes a little better when you're sipping it while watching the ocean! Welcome to Barefoot Sunrise, your cozy beach getaway where flip-flops are encouraged and relaxing is the only thing on your agenda. This beautiful 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo offers gorgeous ocean views and plenty of space to kick back after a day in the sun. The bunk beds are perfect for the kids (or the kid at heart!), and the sleeper sofa in the living room provides additional sleeping space for your beach crew. Cook, dine & make memories: The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a meal in. Gather around the large granite peninsula, with plenty of seating, and swap stories about your day's adventures while enjoying dinner together. Slow down & unwind: Curl up in the cozy reading nook with a good book, or snuggle into bed and enjoy the reading light for a little nighttime escape.
A little something extra: Your host will have some goodies waiting for you when you arrive because every great beach vacation should begin with a warm welcome!
Whether you're here to chase sunrises, hunt for seashells, soak up some rays, or simply do absolutely nothing (which is highly encouraged!), Barefoot Sunrise is ready to welcome you. Come relax, recharge, and make some salty-air, sandy-toes memories!

The property has wonderful amenities to discover and enjoy while staying at Barefoot Sunrise. Three pools (one of which is heated), a hot tub, poolside grills, picnic tables, chaise loungers and poolside seating...as well as a volleyball area...all in a relaxing tropical setting. Additional outdoor activities include ping-pong and bean bag toss.
Due to the ongoing construction and in the interest of Safety, the Maravilla business office will be located in unit 121. This is where you will need to go to pay your parking.
A parking fee must be paid to Maravilla office upon arrival. The office does not accept cash. Parking Rules and prices are as follows:
1) Parking Rates will be set at $10.00 per car per day PLUS Sales tax
2) Trailers (Motorcycle) will be charged the same rate as cars and are limited to special event weekends such as Biker Rally Weekend. No other time are trailers of any sort allowed to be parked at Maravilla.
3) Per day rates will be capped after $70.00 per 30 day time period, and the per day rate will start over again on the 31st day.
Galveston is an amazing and fun community! There are so many different things to do and see...there truly is something for everyone. Within walking distance you'll find go-carts and miniature golf, fishing and dining at Jimmy's on the Pier, batting cages, and our local movie theater. Moody Gardens Golf Course is located nearby, as is the entire Moody Gardens experience and our world-famous waterpark, Schlitterbahn. In town, enjoy one of many fabulous restaurants that offer everything from fine dining to international cuisine to some of the best burgers around. If shopping is your thing, visit The Strand and Post Office where quaint shops and art galleries abound. You won't want to miss Mod Coffeehouse or Hey, Mikey's Ice Cream! The Grand 1894 Opera House offers some of the best entertainment and shows in Texas, featuring headliners from across the country, as well as an historic setting for live theatre. We love our festivals and special events here in Galveston!
All services and fees are subject to 15% tax. We welcome our guests and work diligently to make your experience memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. A photo copy of identification of main renter is required prior to arrival of stay.

The VRBO was clean, bright, and cozy. The description was accurate, and we could see the beach from our balcony. We were able to walk right across to the beach to play and swim. It was super nice to have a fully stocked kitchen for cooking, some fun movies to watch, and a quiet place to relax. We would definitely stay at this location again.

The condo itself was nice. Elevators were tricky and one of which did not work. Other than that, the stay here was nice.

We enjoyed our stay. The pools were great and clean. The condo was clean and very welcoming. The view from the ocean from the balcony was just incredible. We appreciated the laundry facilities were a few rooms down. The resort had shopping carts and luggage carts to help with the transportation of items from the car to the room.

Our apartment was great everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The property management was warm and helpful, however the property needs repair and the “pool” needs cleaning.
