Located just outside downtown Wendell and Wendell Falls, you'll enjoy a peaceful country setting while still being only minutes from shopping, restaurants, Knightdale, Raleigh, and Zebulon.

About the Property
Beachy Getaway is one side of Hidden Pond Lodge, a ranch-style duplex on more than two peaceful acres overlooking a small pond. The pond provides a beautiful view but is not accessible.
The home has been continuously improved over the years with updated furniture, newer mattresses, expanded kitchen supplies, and other upgrades based on guest feedback.
Our decorating style is intentionally relaxed and rustic, inspired by the North Carolina coast. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly place that feels like home, you'll fit right in. If you're expecting a luxury resort or brand-new designer home, this probably isn't the best match.
The Road:
The final quarter mile to the property is a private dirt and gravel road. It's easily traveled by most cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans. Guests with very low sports cars or lowered vehicles may prefer to use extra caution.

• 3 minutes to Publix
• 7 minutes to Downtown Wendell
• 9 minutes to Knightdale
• 20 minutes to Downtown Raleigh

To help protect both our guests and our home, all reservations require:
• Government-issued photo ID

• $300 refundable security deposit hold
Pet fee is $75 per pet. Please review our House Rules before booking for breed restrictions and other important policies.
For everyone's safety, exterior security cameras monitor the parking areas, entrances, and outdoor spaces. There are no cameras inside the home.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. It was well equipped with items in the kitchen and perfect for our family of five. We saw deers in the back woods several times. The cottage was nicely located close to shops and other locations. Overall, we enjoyed our time here. Thank you!!

small but perfect for a few friends to relax for the weekend! close to all local restaurants and stores. had plenty of coffee supplies and spices to help lessen what you need to bring to cook. had a great stay, no complaints!

We were off to a decent start. The roads leading to the property were extremely bumpy but we understand that isn’t the owners fault. my friends and I had a party to attend the following day after we first checked in, and we were in charge of making the desserts for the dessert table for that party. we brought the supplies we needed to cook and make the items because nowhere in the description does it say you are not allowed to cook. As we go over to the sink so that we can start washing off the strawberries that we were getting ready to dip in chocolate we see that the water is very murky and cloudy. We thought that that was just a temporary thing so we tried to run the water for like three minutes and the water was still very opaque. The owner never once warned us about the quality of the water, nor did they offer us any type of compensation or solution for the bad water quality. Moving forward. We ran out of toilet paper by the end of the first night and we searched for so long for replacement toilet paper and we did not see any at all in the home or paper towels. We ended up having to go out and buy our own replacements. We have two more issues that I could write about in this review but unfortunately I’ve run out of space. Honestly, I wouldn’t have felt the need to give a bad review if the owners were kinder, but they were very rude. Every time we spoke to them on the phone. They called 30 minutes before our checkout time speaking very rudely and saying we need to hurry u
