    Room ***- w/round bed in bird cage Pros: - front desk and cleaning lady were always nice. (note: staff are not professionally dressed - just normal street clothes) - location was great and walking distance to shops/food. - First room impression looks romantic and fun for a couple Cons: - We accidentally locked our room key and key card in our room. Front desk did not have an extra key and was unable to get into our room with just the key card he had. Had to wait until the cleaning lady came to open the door for us (few hours later) = inconvenient. - Sheets had dark red stains (front desk got us new sheets) - Smoke smell would randomly appear in room, like if someone was smoking in the room. Complained to front desk, but they didn't know what to do other than give us room spray after checking cameras to see if someone went into our room which no one did while we were gone. We think it was coming from the A/C unit - maybe someone was smoking near where the A/C exhaust hose? and it was being filtered into the room somehow. There was no other explanation for the smell. - Shower temperature was rarely consistent. Sometimes if you have it on warm, it would either change automatically to cold or super hot during the shower or if it was set to cool water it would suddenly get really hot. Constantly having to change the water temperature was frustrating. - One day we didn't have any hot water until late at night and was unable to shower in the morning. I guess they use solar power and something was wrong with it? - Shower curtains need to be changed out - dark and mold stains around the edges. - After you shower, the floor outside the curtains can get wet so we had to place towels around so we wouldn't slip. - Room is dark so if you're trying to do your makeup the lighting isn't great. even with the Hollywood mirror. -Shower is close to the toilet so we always had to remember to move the toilet paper to the basket above the toilet so it doesn't get wet. - Towels were stained as well and had to request new towels. We wouldn't stay here again. This seemed more like a one night stand type of hotel. If that's your thing, this would be perfect for you. We wish we had stayed at the hotel we booked (not much more than this hotel) after we had come back from Hanoi. The few extra dollars (USD) a night would've been so worth it and way more comfortable for us. We even got decent breakfast at the other hotel! This hotel does not offer breakfast.

    The pics dont match the reality, truly a love hotel with a shady feel. No hot water during my stay. Location is good and staff is friendly but I would not stay again as a solo traveler
