About this cabin rental

This lake front cabin has direct water access and a private dock. Located in a quiet cove on pristine Echo Lake. Beautiful sunrises await you on a covered screened in porch, while you enjoy your first cup of coffee. Spend your days on this pristine lake fishing, swimming or just enjoying the view. At night, relax by the fire pit roasting marshmallows and listening to the loons. The cabin is 20 minutes from the capital city of Augusta. Family of 4 stayed at this property july 4th week. The lake is BEAUTIFUL and quiet!!!!! Bit of a loud party house next door but it was the week of the fourth… House is perfect for a quiet retreat. The stairs are a little scary (narrow/steep) but after time they seem normal. Love it and look forward to coming back!

In Maine we call our little cottages on the lakes “camps.” They are rustic, pretty much one season only use, and most maine-owned camps haven’t changed much since the 20s. This place is wonderful example. I don’t mean that it’s rundown or anything like that. It’s well-kept and maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in a fantastic spot. The owners are nearby, and good people.
