About this house rental
“Come Anchor Down” An amazing 3 bedroom 2 bathroom canal front getaway awaits your arrival. The canal is great for fishing, kayaking, and you can even rent a boat, or bring your own and keep it at our private dock. The home is 7 houses from the intracoastal waterway. It’s the Best of both worlds, relaxing on the canal, and easy access to the beach. We are walking distance to the new park/playground, restaurants, pier, mini golf, and much more. Get ready to relax by the water and enjoy the oasis we have created. Brand New Listing!!! We have 4 Tandem Kayak's that you are welcome to use during your stay! This home has 3 bedroom and 2 full bathrooms. We can accommodate 10 guests. One bedroom has a king size bed and large walk in closet. It also has its on access to the back balcony, that over looks the canal. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and its on bathroom. The third bedroom has custom built bunk beds. It has 2 twins on the top and 2 full size beds on the bottom. All the bedrooms have 55 inch smart t.v.'s. The kitchen is well equipped with all the basics for cooking. We have a laundry room downstairs with 2 washers and 2 dryer's. We also have a outside shower downstairs. AnchorDown is perfectly located near the beach on a natural canal. It is a short 7 minute walk to the beach, or a short golf cart ride. We also have a lift that you can use for luggage, cooler's and groceries. Please use responsibility, no kids on lift. . Ocean Isle is a golf cart friendly community. We also have a 6 person golf cart that is available for rent. You have access to everything except a storage closet downstairs. The beach house has its on floating dock. The dock and canal are meant to be enjoyed responsibly. Please note there are inherent dangers associated with water, including drowning. please be safe and wear a personal floatation device around the water. Monitor children and those that are not strong swimmers. We have beach chairs, beach cart, umbrella, a cooler, and Bluetooth speaker for stay. We also have beach games and corn hole boards. We have a gas grill for your use. We include all bed linens. Each guest will be provided a towel, wash cloth, and hand towel. We also have beach towels.

Impeccably clean, well maintained, and perfectly appointed home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were 4 adults in our party and we spent more time at Anchors Down than we have ever spent at any rental home. Usually we are on the go. It was so comfortable and so relaxing we didn’t want to. My sister and I spent hours fishing off the dock and enjoying the beautiful weather. It is perfect for fishing or just sitting outside to take in all of the beach sounds.There was plenty of room in the common rooms (living, kitchen and dining) to relax and wind down at the end of the day. We were able to wash our clothes as needed after fishing or doing beach walks - how nice that the home has 2 W/D!! We opted to rent the golf cart during our stay - if you are older like we are or have children, it is an absolute must. The large, 6-person golf cart made getting to the pier or beach super quick to maximize our vacation time. We also made quick trips to the convenience store. On our last night, we opted to cook dinner instead of going out. Four adults were able to cook together in the spacious kitchen that had just about everything you could need. Our parties one suggestion to the home owners would be to add a large pot (stock) for steaming some of the fresh local seafood and a couple of crab crackers. We made it work and that is honestly the only things we looked for that were not found!We are looking forward to next years trip and will want to stay at Anchors down.

We had a great week at AnchorDown. Lindsey was very responsive and helpful when a few unforeseen issues came up. One thing to note that I didn't notice in the description was that the room with the king size bed does not have an en suite bathroom. The room with an en suite bathroom has a queen size bed. It was totally fine for us, though! We had everything we needed and more. The golf cart was key!! We really appreciated that parking was paid for with the golf cart. We loved the location in relation to downtown, restaurants, the bridge, etc. It made everything so easy and convenient. We would stay again! Thank you!!

The house was beautifully decorated. It was nice having kayaking available, large golf cart rental and a private dock. The only small complaints I have are the ice maker didn’t work, we had to use trays and we had to wash the dish towels and beach towels before we left. As we were there only a few days I didn’t like having to spend time doing laundry. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay. I would like to go back.
