About this house rental
You’ll be welcomed into the Grand Beamed Entry, which flows into the Formal Living Room of this 4,721 SQFT palace. From here, you’ll begin to understand that this house is special, and you will feel right at home throughout your stay at The Southern Estate. Not only is the entrance amazing, but the kitchen is very spacious. The additional entertainment room outside is absolutely incredible for large gatherings of all kinds, including ones that involve the Outdoor Pool w/ fountains, Pool House, and very spacious indoor (screened-in) and outdoor Patio Areas. There are also indoor entertainment options in the Theater Room, as well as the Billiards Room w/ wet bar. And, at the end of the evening, you can rest well in one of the Large Bedrooms with plenty of room for people to sleep in beds. The Grand Master Retreat, however, is extra special with its spa-style bath. Try to stay in this room, if you can. Also, on the property are 7 garage spots and approximately another 7 spots on the driveway. Check the photos for more information. Thank you!
Even though the house can sleep 28 guests, we do not consider the use of the house by 1 or 6 guests and use the house by 28 guests to be the same. Hence, the additional guest fee.
Additional guest fees assist the host, among other things, in covering the costs associated with higher occupancy, like increased usage of utilities or additional cleanup.
Normal occupancy at this house is considered to be 6 guests. Any guests after the 6th guest will encure an additional guest fee of $25 per night per guest.

Great property for a group of of long time friends to enjoy an away football game against OU in Norman. Spacious property and GREAT entertainment. Favorite was the theater room for watching the later games. Unfortunately we were there in November so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool (although it was open). Host was very attentive. Everything we needed was available. Only suggestion for future guests is that there are only 2 1/2 baths. This was posted by the owner. Just slowed things down a bit with 8 people. Also the wonderful tub in the primary bedroom, although it has a shower, it doesn’t have walls. Best to sit in the tub and use the wand so as not to get water everywhere.

Our family had an amazing time at this house. There was something for everyone to do at all times with plenty of room for all 16 of us. The movie theater, pool and game room made the trip so enjoyable. Lionel is a wonderful host. He was kind enough to email when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed and emailed a couple more times to make sure all was going well. We have stayed at 3 other VRBO homes and he is by far the best host! I highly recommend him and this home!

The house was spacious - we had a party of 16 and we had plenty of room. Lionel our host was very responsive and super easy to work with. We had a great week enjoying the pool. The beds were very comfortable and several of them had advanced features that allow you to get a massage or adjust the bed. Televisions in all the bedrooms plus a living room which was large with a couch that could accommodate many many people. The kitchen came equipped with most of the kitchen, utensils, and service items that we needed to cook and eat. There are a few items in the house were in ill repair, but this didn’t impact our use or enjoyment of the property.Our family traveled from across the country to meet here and the house was a great venue to spend a week together in.

The house was cute, big enough for our needs, and the pool was fun. However, the refrigerator did not work, and we had the hardest time getting ahold of the property manager. With the high cost of this rental, I honestly was disappointed the amount of time and effort that we had to put into getting basic amenities working.
