Thoughtfully extended to blend traditional charm with modern conveniences, Piccolo now features four rooms and a bathroom, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. Original timber walls, floors, and solid doors preserve the cottage’s unique character, while contemporary touches make it a true home away from home.

We have spend many years restoring this 100 year old miner cottage, we have refitted it with all to modern convenances you expect whilst retaining as much of the original character as possible.

Nice small typical house. Very kind. Micheal is a very attentioned host. We enjoyed our stay at Picolo. Nice place to get around trought the blue mountains.

Property was exactly as described. Cosy and pet friendly. I wouldn't advise arriving in the dark as the steps up to the house are a bit dodgy in the dark. Otherwise it's a lovely cosy cottage in a great peaceful location.

Peaceful stay in old cottage. Some maintenance issues but absolutely lovely outlook & proximity to nature, including a bandicoot under the house, possums on the roof & king parrots in the trees.

Piccolo presents as it is explained. It is very comfortable for two people, the bed was very good and the kitchen is well stocked with all you need to self-cater. Michael also provided lots of helpful hints about what to do and where to eat. We would certainly return.
