About this bed and breakfast
'ADELAIDE HILLS ESCAPE' is a popular & spotlessly clean guesthouse in the beautiful country town of Woodside. Central location near all wineries in the Adelaide Hills. Perfect base to visit Hahndorf & attractions. 2 mins to Bird in Hand winery. Enjoy modern decor with comforts of home. Popular wedding/event accommodation. Late checkout when available. New 65 " Smart TV including unlimited Netflix movies.

The space
Our accommodation is like a ‘home away from home’. It has modern styling amongst a peaceful country setting, with everything you need for a great stay.
Artwork by Adelaide Artist Jan Partington decorates the walls.
Enjoy full kitchen facilities with large refrigerator, oven and microwave. You have access to your own laundry including washing machine and dryer.
Guests tell us they want 2 things as a priority when booking a BnB:
1. Quality wifi - we have installed a top quality wifi network within the guesthouse.
2. A spotlessly clean environment - We give the guesthouse a thorough 3-4 hour clean after EVERY guest departs.
3. A big SMART TV - We have a brand new 65” with FREE unlimited NETFLIX movies. Simple one button access to movies (no annoying logins & passwords). Alternatively if you want to go ‘old school’, select one of our DVD movies. We have a large selection to suit all tastes.
The detached guest house is at the rear of the home and is fully self contained with private gate entrance.
We have recently purchased new beds and mattresses (getting rave reviews) plus have hypo allergenic quilts with electric blankets for any chilly nights. New fresh linen.
Split system air conditioning in living room with electric blankets on queen beds for any chilly nights. Ceiling fans with dimmable lighting in all rooms.
We offer some breakfast provisions (toast/cereal/tea/coffee etc)
Heading to a wedding or special function? We have a ‘beauty station’ space within the main living area ideal for the ladies. It consists of a large mirror, two stools, 3 drawers for cosmetics etc and blow dryer.
Writing desk ideal for laptops or to pen a quick postcard.
Table tennis and basketball ring on site to keep the kids entertained ( or adults). Woodside Swimming Pool and Woodside Playground are only 2 minutes away.
Complimentary bikes to ride . (4 adult mountain bikes)
Washing machine/dryer available.
Everyone loves a barbie!...4 Burner gas barbecue on site.
Pour a wine and kick back in our 6 seater outdoor setting. Fully screened undercover area with ceiling fan for hot weather.

We are located in the heart of the Adelaide Hills and are within 5 minutes of many fabulous attractions including the Internationally famous 'Bird in Hand' Winery, Melba's Chocolate Factory & the Amy Gillett Bikeway.
Easter Long Weekend - Ideal base for Oakbank Racing Carnival.
*Minimum 4 Day Booking Required for Easter. Be quick to secure your accommodation.

This guest house is suitable for people seeking a quiet environment. Parties are not allowed and only booked guests are welcome on the property at night (unless prior approval is given from host). The guesthouse is located in close proximity to neighbouring properties and the host's private residence. Please be considerate by keeping noise to a minimum after 10pm. Guests found to be making undue noise or having a party will be evicted immediately.

Our books are hand selected to create conversations and talking points. We have interesting books that will appeal to both men & women across a multitude of topics.
At sunset spin the love seat in the driveway around towards the paddock next door to watch the Shetland ponies. Of course you will need a champagne and cheese platter ready.
We offer country hospitality where you are welcome and valued. If you are looking for privacy we ensure this is a priority.
Most of all - a great night’s sleep. We have an extremely quiet environment and comfy beds and pillows to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Great location, convenient to wineries and facilities within Woodside. The property had a great feel to it, and while very near the main residence, we didnt hear or see anyone, even while sitting in the courtyard enjoying a bottle of wine. The photos are an exact representation of the property and we would definitely recommend. Beautiful little place with a friendly helpful host.

This place was perfect for our visit to the Adelaide Hills. Clean, well set up with everything you will need (and more) and in a perfect location to bike or drive to nearby cellar doors. I would book it again without hesitation.

Close to everything for a Wedding and the Adelaide Hills experience. The host was great and the property was just what you want, comfy bed tourist information ℹ excellent and fresh strawberries yum but UHT milk , I recommend this place

Clean, cosy, comfortable and charming little guest house, with tea, coffee and breakfast provided. It provided privacy and activities in a picturesque setting. Quiet and relaxing. I only stayed overnight, but after a long night attending a nearby wedding, I really appreciated the late check out (11am) to sleep in. The host promptly responded to any questions I had leading up to the day.Thank you, Brett.
