Studio 5 p. les arcs 2000, available weekends from 28/02 at the foot of the slopes

Really great apartment with ski in/out, easy to find and well-equipped. Only negative or recommendation is that there needs to be a shower curtain as the water from the shower gets on the floor easily.

We had a great week although we couldn’t ski for the first couple of days as there was too much snow, meaning Arc 2000 lifts were shut & road down to 1600 was closed. Our arrival was more complicated than should have been as keys & inventory/instructions didn’t arrive before we left. Instead, had to collect keys from helpful concierge Sylvie but hard to find conciergerie unless you’re familiar with layout of Arc 2000. View from flat was amazing once it stopped snowing & we could see it. Lots of storage space for all 4 of us. Lovely to have duvets, a dishwasher & also a bath to relax muscles at end of each day. Bunk beds fine for our (grown up) kids & pull-out double bed also comfortable but bring v big/stretchy base sheet (superking?) Fantastic skiing all week & very practical flat to come back to. Would happily stay there again.

This apartment was well equipped, clean and actually quite spacious for a family of three. The kitchen is perfectly functional, and hot water is plentiful and strong. Storage is excellent. There are only a few things that stop this being 5 star. The apartment is a bit out of the main resort area, and to ski near to the entrance or up to the nearest button lift requires a bit of faffing and walking uphill, so if you forget anything it’s quite a trek. On arrival, the area to unload is quite small and fed by a single track so I would hate to have to do this during peak times (we arrived late so it was fine). It might also be useful to have a proper oven, and definitely a shower curtain of some sort! That aside, the owner was prompt in answering all questions and sent the key in plenty of time as promised. If it was a touch closer to the main square we would 100% book again. The view from the balcony was simply fabulous.
