About this villa rental
Casa Margherita is located in the green Ligurian countryside surrounded by ancient olive trees just 5 minutes drive from the city and the sea.
Sitting in the cool patio you can enjoy a 270 degree view of the Gulf of Imperia up to the Ligurian Maritime Alps.
Equipped with all the appliances (including the dishwasher) it is ideal for relaxing holidays and in contact with nature.
The garden is completely fenced and for the exclusive use of guests.
Inside you can find a beautiful pergola to eat al fresco enjoying the magnificent panorama, a relaxation area with deck chairs, umbrella and outdoor shower and a nice lounge to sip aperitifs watching the sunset over the sea and the first lights of the city that come on.
The house is on 2 levels.
On the ground floor we find the kitchen that overlooks the patio to eat in complete relaxation, the living room with 2 comfortable sofas (one of which is a bed) a table and the old sideboard of the grandmother.
Attached to the living room there is a bathroom (with shower) and a washing machine.
Going up the stairs you reach the second floor where we find the bedrooms.
The first bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a French window overlooking the terrace overlooking the whole garden, the surrounding countryside and from which you can enjoy a magnificent sea view.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds (which can be joined in a double bed as seen in the photographs) and overlooks a cool and secret shady garden full of aromatic herbs.
To complete the plan there is the second bathroom with bathtub.
Casa Margherita is ideal for couples and families who want to spend relaxing holidays in contact with nature but remaining very close to the beautiful Ligurian Sea. In fact it is located in a strategic position because in 5 minutes you can reach the beaches of Imperia Oneglia and in 10 minutes (going down the other side of the hill) you can reach the sandy beaches of Diano Marina.
NOTE:
The last 600 meters of road to reach the house have many curves and in some sections reach a gradient of 20%

Property is very well located no far from Imperia center. We enjoyed the fantastic view to Imperia and the harbor. House gad all we needed. In summer it can be very hot in tge region. We enjoined that on the property are different places to stay. Do with moving sun you always find a place in the shadow. Drive way up to the property is steep but drivable also with bigger car. Recommend to preview with map street view

Everything was exactly as the listing describes. The views and the kitchen drew us to this listing, what we found in real life was so much better in person.
First, we met Alessandro who met us in person and introduced us to the place and how it works. That was very helpful. He gave us very good recommendations, all of which were excellent! He is responsive and kind and gave us a very good start!
Everything was clean and well equipped for cooking and spending a lot of time "at home". I enjoyed cooking, reading, yoga and even doing laundry with a gorgeous view of the sea!
This was a working vacation and the internet speeds were very good. The only improvement in that regard would be a desk or work table, but we were able to set something up upstairs that functioned well. This setup allowed one of us to work in a private room without being disturbed.
Extra points for the visits from Gigi, the local kitty. She is very sweet!!
The road up to the house is an adventure, but no problem at all for our medium-sized auto. Cycling from the house, a challenge for my cyclist partner, which he enjoyed, but I took my bike to town in the car and rode along the coast - that worked well for us both.
We highly recommend a stay here and have Casa Margherita high on our list to return! Thank you for everything Alessandro!!

Dear Elena and Alessandro,
Thank you very much for the last wonderful week we spend in Imperia.
The house is absolutely wonderful and even more beautiful than we have expected from the pictures!!
The view is gorgeaous! We enjoyed it already in the morning with the first coffee and in the evening by a nice glass of wine.
The house and also the garden are made with love and passion, Beautiful decorated, we really enjoyed it.The kitchen is very well equipped so cooking of fresh fish from the weekly market in Oneglia was a pleasure especialyl with the big window in the kitchen which makes the cook feel being outside with the guests, which is great!
And again a big thank you to you both as amazing hosts! You made us feel very welcome and you took so prudently care of us, already before we arrived by informing about weather and temperatur, really sweet!
Please also send our very best regards to the very kind owner with a special thank you for her Easter cake!
We would love to come back again to this faboulous place! Hope to see you soon!
