About this apartment rental

Captains Quarters B is a duplex/apartment conveniently located only 1.5 blocks to Tybee's South beach, pier, restaurants, and shopping. This home is perfect for the budget traveler and couples. Tasteful furnishings, artwork, and accessories throughout the home. The living area features a sleeper sofa and a flat-screen TV. The dining area has seats 4.

The bedroom features a King-size bed and a large flat-screen TV. The large furnished sunroom in the front of the house is furnished with table seating for 4 - perfect for reading a good book and enjoying a good cup of coffee at any time of the day. The wall-mounted split a/c is perfect for keeping the apartment cool in summer months and warm in cooler months.

The large front yard has an outdoor brick (charcoal) BBQ and an additional gas grill for guest use. There are a washer and dryer available for guest's use.

The washer and dryer are shared with the neighboring unit. Parking for two cars and Wifi for guest use. Handicap friendly (ground level, no stairs; not ADA compliant).

The property was clean and conveniently located. Close to shops and restaurants. A relatively short drive to Savannah (25 to 35 minutes). Also just 15 minutes to Fort Pulaski a Civil War battle location. Perfect for history buffs.

The code to the door took me a few tries, but once I figured it out, I had no more issues. The sunroom was great to eat and play board games, the kitchen had every appliance we could home hope for. The pullout couch was comfy, and the master bedroom was a great size. We hope to stay here again next summer.

Perfect little getaway spot. Everything was exactly as advertised. The location could have not been better. We parked when we got there, and were able to walk to the beach, the shops, and all of the best restaurants. Cant wait for our next stay here!!

The little duplex is cute and fairly well equipped. It’s perfect for a couple size wise. The problem is, you are next door to whoever rents the other side and for us it was a double bummer. First couple was quiet and behaved but he smoked right outside their door which meant we couldn’t open our porch windows because all the smoke would come in. He was outside a lot and unfortunately he was coughing up a lung constantly. They left on a Thursday morning so we thought we’d have a little reprieve but by Thursday afternoon we got WORSE! A mom who smoked so same problem but had a teenage son who constantly played video games and was yelling and screaming and swearing to the game for hours, well after 10pm quite time!! Will never make the mistake of staying in a duplex again. Also, one should know that it is located behind the bar/restaurant Stingrays. Loud and smelly. Every morning they rinse out the garbage area and the disgusting water drains down to the corner and stinks. If you’re into the party scene, this may be your place but we are quiet morning walking people who like to bird watch. In fact, there are 2 green herons that hang around the house (shockingly) and that was another nice plus.
