About this house rental
Serene single-level home across from Lake Michigan: Property ID#393153 - 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 5. Sleeping Arrangements (all main level): King in master, Queen in 2nd bedroom and extra single in living room.
If you're looking for a quiet retreat, you've come to the perfect place. Nestled along a quiet stretch of Lake Michigan shoreline, you'll hear the waves while sipping coffee on either front or back deck of the home. This is an ideal HQ for all things that Northern Michigan has to offer.
There is public access at various points along Lakeshore Road. We encourage the use of the public Lake Michigan beach access at Bar Lake is just a a few miles up the road.
Extra amenities include an indoor AC unit, outdoor firepit, ample outdoor seating and a charcoal grill for you to enjoy.
The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meal prep. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glass, etc. dishwasher, and a drip coffee maker is available for guest use. Additional kitchen items include microwave and toaster. Also included: bed linens, bath towels, basic cleaning supplies, and soaps (not personal soaps), and a starter set of paper products.
LOCATION: Home is ideally located just north of Manistee along serene Lakeshore Road. Just a few minutes to downtown Manistee and about an hour south of Traverse City and beautiful Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Check in time is after 4:00PM and check out time is before 10:00AM. Please note that we are not able to accommodate early arrivals or late departures from May – September. Any request for additional time will depend on availability of the rental and an additional fee may be added to the stay.
ARRIVAL: There is no formal check-in procedure. Arrival details are sent prior to your check-in date and will include the exact location of the property, parking and entry information. Guests will have a private, secure entrance and the rental is not shared by owners or other guests.
DEPARTURE: We do have a very short checklist we ask renters follow upon departure. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely.
Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy.
For safety reasons, there may be external security cameras in use. Please contact us if there are any questions or concerns.

Charming cabin and love all the decks. We enjoyed the firepit and lake Michigan across the main road. Large TV and lots of comfy couches was great for watching college football. Ideal location for us being not too far from downtown manistee and Arcadia Bluffs Golf 20 min away

Beautiful, spacious place. Great backyard. Quiet. On a two lane road that is listed as suitable but is less than ideal for biking or walking, but only 10 minute drive to Manistee a cool town with fun food options and great beaches. No direct lake access (lake is across the street and separated by private homes and access).

Great, clean and cozy location just north of Manistee and across the street from the lake. Was able to sleep with the windows open and hear the waves crashing the shore! Will stay here again if I return to the area.
