Sea View 4 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in a great location! Located on the top-floor of a historic Tybee building with ocean views from the shared furnished porch. Located just 4 houses back from the beach and within 2 blocks of restaurants, shops, nite life, and the Tybee Pier.
The living area has a Queen sleeper sofa, a 32in flat-screen TV with Satellite TV, and an iPod docking station with CD and Radio. The small kitchen is fully equipped (no dishwasher) and there is table seating for 4. The bedroom is located off the living area and is furnished with a Queen bed and 19in flat-screen TV. The bath has a stand-up shower, no tub. There is also wireless internet available for your use.
PLEASE NOTE: Stand-Up Shower Only in Bathroom (No Tubs), 1 Reserved Parking Place is provided. The unit is pet-friendly.
This Historic Sea View Apartment building was originally built in 1924 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Each Unit includes the use of shared amenities that include: Two levels of large furnished porches for guests to enjoy the ocean breezes. The top level porch features a nice ocean view. Rinse off after a day at the beach in one of two enclosed outdoor showers, a great amenity especially for families. In the backyard, there is a patio with Gas Grill and seating available for guest use and a shared laundry room. All units feature WIFI access and Satellite TV.

This was our first trip to Tybee Island! We typically go to Florida for the beach, however, we loved this stay so much that we plan to visit again. We loved this property and will check its availability for our next trip first!

We recently stayed at Sea View Unit 4 and unfortunately had a disappointing experience due to continuous air conditioning problems. Despite the listing promising air conditioning, the air conditioning in this unit malfunctioned from the beginning. The temperature was uncomfortably warm throughout our stay, making it difficult to relax and sleep properly, especially during the hotter hours of the day and night. The rental company did provide box fans on the second day of our stay, however, the air conditioning issue was not fixed.
We contacted the property management immediately, but the response was slow and the issue was not resolved during our stay. This lack of timely action left us feeling frustrated and unable to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. After our stay, I was in contact with Tybee Vacation Rental management to further discuss this issue. The manager that I spoke to was rude and unwilling to discuss this issue further. She told me "That I should read the fine print in the agreement."
While the location and amenities of the rental were otherwise satisfactory, the failure to provide a functioning air conditioning system, and the lack of respect that I received from Tybee Vacation Rental management, I cannot recommend this property for stays.
