The village of Collobrières is located in the Var, in the heart of the Massif des Maures. Known for its large chestnut grove and for the products that its craftsmen make from it, Collobrières is a pleasant village, far from the hustle and bustle of the coast.
Built around its medieval town, the town of Collobrières has a great architectural heritage: Saint-Pons church from the 12th century, Gothic church from the 19th century, old bridge from the 12th century and Chartreuse de la Verne from the 12th century.
The village of Collobrières is considered to be the "capital of the chestnut". A candied chestnut factory has been established there for several decades. The chestnut festival is celebrated there the last three Sundays of October each year and offers its thousands of visitors craft market, pedestrian race and all kinds of entertainment.
Collobrières was founded in the 12th century. It also has a stone bridge from this period (the Old Bridge) and a church currently under renovation (the Saint-Pons church).

Everything worked out perfectly with check in. The hodts are super friendly and helpful. We've had the feeling of being welcome for any kind of questions at each time. The apartment is freshly furnished, clean and hold everything you might need for a nice stay. The area is awesome. Nothing you might need on a daily basis is more than a 5 minutes walk away. There are 2 shops for daily needs, a butcher, several bakeries, restaurants and bars nearby. I highly recommend this apartment and will come back :)

Lovely views over the rooftops to the hills beyond. Good selection of bars and restaurants I easy walking distance as well as 2 small supermarkets
