Self-contained apartment in a quiet village house—the perfect setting for a wonderful vacation! Furnished apartment. Close to downtown Briançon and the ski slopes, 8 km from Serre Chevalier, 20 minutes from Puy Saint Vincent, 30 minutes from Italy, and 20 minutes from the spa and thermal baths in Monetier-les-Bains or Montgenèvre Durancia, Tennis court 2 km away, rock climbing site 1 km away, and a via ferrata 1 km away

A kitchenette area equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, range hood, refrigerator with a small freezer, table, and 6 chairs. Well-equipped with kitchen utensils.
The living room is equipped with 1 sleeping area for 2 people (1 double sofa bed, 140x190). Storage furniture, flat-screen TV, DVD player, board games, DVDs available, books, and internet access.
We provide bed linens, bath towels, and dish towels.
Check-in time: 4:00 PM; Check-out time: 11:00 AM.

At the crossroads of five valleys (Durance, Clarée, Guisane, Cerveyrette, Orceyrette), Briançon and its Vauban fortifications (the city walls, the forts of Les Salettes, Les Trois Têtes, and Le Randouillet, the Y-shaped communication structure, and the Asfeld Bridge) have been listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 7, 2008.
At an altitude of 1,326 meters, it is the highest city in France. Briançon is located 15 km from the Italian border and offers a wide range of winter activities (skiing, snowshoeing, etc.) and summer activities (hiking, rock climbing, rafting, etc.)

Once you pass through the Pignerol Gate, the old town—picturesque in the extreme—reveals to visitors numerous reminders of its past. The 18th-century Notre-Dame Collegiate Church, the 14th-century Cordeliers Church, the historic mansions lining both sides of the sloping alleyways, the charming Place d’Armes surrounded by pretty, colorful facades reminiscent of Provence, and the fountains and sundials are all treasures waiting to be discovered by architecture enthusiasts.
It is also worth noting that two open-air aqueducts run through the town from top to bottom, built in the Middle Ages to improve firefighting efforts. Known as the Grande and the Petite Gargouille, they are lined with the town’s main shops along their entire length.
When winter arrives, Briançon becomes a popular destination for ski enthusiasts, with its ski area forming part of the famous Serre Chevalier resort.

Very nice property. It's half of the top floor of a large house. A large kitchen / living room which is well-equipped plus a separate bedroom which is a good size.
The property is not ultra-modern, but it has a lot of charm, is warm, and has good views (difficult not to given the location).
The location is at the north of the village, and is on the main road, but is set far back from the road. You can't really hear the road at night - I'm a light sleeper and it didn't bother me. It also means it's well located. Briançon is a ten-minute drive away.
The owner is very pleasant. Really can't fault it and would use it again.
