THE BARN that can sleep up to 4 guests lies in an oasis of tranquility immersed in a paradise of Mediterranean scents and colours. Located between Lucca and Pisa, two cities rich in history and culture, this holiday home is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the wonders that Tuscany has to offer.
As soon as you cross the threshold of THE BARN, you are greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interiors are furnished with care and taste, drawing inspiration from local colors and traditions. The colours recall the surrounding nature: outside, centuries-old olive trees, lemons and citrus fruits, colorful flowers that give vitality and joy to the spaces.
The rooms are spacious and bright. The furnishings are simple and comfortable, designed to make guests feel at home but away from it. Every detail has been carefully taken care of, to guarantee an unforgettable experience.
Tuscan cuisine is a true culinary treasure. Here, the traditional flavors of local cuisine mix with fresh, quality ingredients, coming directly from local gardens. Many dishes are prepared with love and passion, following recipes handed down for generations. Guests can enjoy specialties in the village such as Tordelli, Torta di Pizzi, Cecina and much more, accompanied by local wines yet to be discovered by the masses such as Lucca's red Montecarlo or Luni's white Vermentino.

Our stay was UNBELIEVABLE! We chose “The Barn” for our visit. It was small but, packed with all of the charm of an quaint Italian farmhouse.The views from the saltwater pool made us speechless… we never tired of taking in all the beauty around us.The kitchen had all we needed to make our simple meals.The housekeeper was very conscientious to our needs. She spoke very little English but, the phone translator made it easy.If, you are looking for a quiet, somewhat remote area , with views that will blow your mind… this is perfect for you.We would definitely return and possibly try a different cottage on the property.Stefano has 4 different homes to choose from.He has kept the charm and original splendor to his property and we greatly appreciated our stay.

We had a very great time! The small house is just perfect for a couple, the terrace a beautful private space and the pool is a proper swimming pool. The surroundings are peacefull and beautifull. You can see: we enjoyed every moment. Also the communication with Stefano and Vittoria were exceptional, they even tried to help us printing concert tickets :)

First the owners and care taker Victoria are wonderful people. The home was much more “rustic” than we expected. AC can only be run at night and works intermittently. The shower and toilets are a combination sort of deal. So you shower on a wooden crate they provide while the shower curtain separates you from the toilet. This setup drenched the bathroom every time we showered and felt generally unclean and awkward. The sheets provided smelled musty and didn’t feel clean. We made the most of our two weeks there, but wanted to write an honest review so others can decide in an informed manner if this property works for them.
