About this house rental
Delicious and romantic detached cottage in the town center, Castello neighborhood, behind the Church of St. George. Wonderful views of the city, perfect blend of tradition and modernity blended harmoniously in a period décor and warm tones.
The house Ziicedda (Auntie in Sicilian dialect) is presented with warm, natural tones combined with the Mediterranean colors of the ceramics and accessories.
The house is on two levels, the upper floor is the living area with kitchenette and sofa bed where stands a warm limestone wall Modica and a rooftop terrace which overlooks the city. At the entrance of the terrace is double bathroom with shower and laundry.
Downstairs you can access both from inside through a small scale, so narrow as it is beautiful, from both the secondary door at the foot of the staircase Vico Sacramento.
In this floor there is the sleeping area with a first area with sofa bed and TV embellished by beautiful stone wall,
the master bedroom with panoramic city views and bathroom with shower. In these comfortable rooms, in a perfect blend of tradition and modern touch, harmonious mixture of antique furniture and other essential design, tiled floors, stone walls and colorful walls.
The district
In the historic center, a few steps from the Castle, which dominates the city of Modica, and the baroque Church of St. George, one of the most beautiful churches in Sicily.
The house is situated in a quiet location, but still easily accessed without having to travel long distances on foot.
You can lose yourself in the quiet of the alleys and in the charm of this beautiful baroque town in search of unique and characteristic views places.
Take a break while enjoying the famous chocolate of Modica, the ancient Aztec recipe, and enjoy the refreshment of an ice cream or a granita in downtown bar

The house is accessible by car with parking nearby.
The city of Modica is a UNESCO Heritage Site, from here you can visit Ragusa-Ibla, Scicli and other beautiful towns in the Val di Noto.
Guests can relax in the beautiful beaches of Sampieri, Maganuco, Woman Lucata, Punta Secca, Punta arm or protected marine area of Vendicari and dive into the crystal clear waters of the Currents Island or Cape Passero.

We had a lovely stay at this charming house. Lots of character and a lovely terrace with a breathtaking view of the city. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again

Great location. There’s a lovely little coffee shop right down the street that overlooks the Duomo. There are quite a few steps to walk down to the main street but most people should have no problem with it. Or you can drive. Apartment has a great patio with a fantastic view. Inside the apartment it is two levels so you must be prepared to use some stairs. Overall a great experience.

The house overlooks the city of Modica. The people are so nice! We couldn't ask for a better stay during the very special 30th birthday of my new fiance. The house is clean with all the amenities. The owner Daniela is so nice and caring to make sure you are satisfied. You will be more than happy and lose your breath looking at the city view! Don't hesitate. You will be happy with your stay here.
