In the heart of the Cèze valley, between Uzès and Pont-St-Esprit, 2 steps from the Marmites of Roque sur Cèze, a small hamlet is home to the Villa Matignonne with a Mediterranean garden of 2. 500 m2. This Provencal villa of high standing offers 270 m2 of living space and comfort for 12 people. It consists of 3 independent areas with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, dressing room and separate toilet is a total of 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 toilets plus living room and dining room of approx 60 m2 ground floor overlooking the garden. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, double fridge, bread maker, Nespresso. 3 large flat screen TVs, 1 TV, satellite, 4 DVD players, more than 100 DVDs, hi-fi, piano, wii ... Provencal terracotta floors and design and functional furniture. For your relaxation, the garden will offer two different places, one on the terrace (partially shaded) for your meals, barbecue, teak garden furniture, the other sunny around the pool secured by electric shutter (12 x 6 m) surrounded by a spacious beach slabs of Luberon. In the very large garden, trampoline, ping pong, petanque, bikes, children's hut, slide, gantry with swings, pool games, etc. Garden with fruit trees very productive throughout the summer (pears, apples, plums, all organic). No animals. Free and sunny all year. 3 of the 157 most beautiful villages in France nearby. Week 2400 € to 3. 600 €, depending on season. Comfort. The house is accessible for elderly people or with difficulty to climb steps as it can be accessed from the terrace.

We've (three families) recently returned from a fantastic holiday in Cornillon.
The booking process was very simple, Eric (the owner) answered questions very quickly and provided great information on the local area, including simple directions to the villa.
The Villa is fantastic, it works really well for different families as the bedrooms are split into three different areas with their own (very large) bathrooms and toilet rooms, with a central living room, kitchen and dining room, although we never used it as there is a great outside seating area which is covered for shade.
The quality of the equipment is very high and in very good condition.
The pool is large and was used every day, plenty of space in the garden for games and space to relax in the sun.
The local village of Goudarges is very pretty and vibrant (for a small village), with great cafes, restaurants, ice cream parlours, bakery and supermarket, along with markets on different days.
There is lots to do in the local area, we enjoyed kayaking, visiting the caves, treetop adventure, walking to name a few.
Alain (the local contact) showed us round the property when we arrived and also took the keys when we left, very good service and arrived in 30 minutes when we needed him (turned out it was me not doing it properly!).
The security deposit was repaid very quickly (within two days of leaving) and the communication with Eric from start to finish has been great.
I certainly recommend the villa.

We really liked staying at this house. The layout of the house worked well with the four families all having separate or private bathrooms off their bedrooms. The house is very well equipped, both in terms of sleeping accommodation and bathrooms but also in the kitchen and utility rooms. The communal areas are spacious and there is a large TV and comfortable sofas to watch it from. There is a big garden, well looked after with a swimming pool, table tennis, deck chairs, dining table and chairs, etc, etc.
The location is great, the house is next to a couple of beautiful villages, Corillon and Goudargues with easy access to amenities, restaurants, shops, etc. In Goudargues we visited some of the nice restaurants and enjoyed the hospility of the people.
We can easily recomend staying in this wonderful house. We would love to come back some day!!

We saw this home and loved the pictures online! The owners were very easy to deal with and were so helpful in providing information on the house and activities in the surrounding area. This property is amazing! We arrived to find a beautiful swimming pool on a property with lovely gardens and lavender bushes around the house. The house itself is very large, modern, lots of natural light and well equipped with all of the amenities. The layout is great as there are 3 separate sleeping areas in the home, allowing for multiple couples/families to be together while having a large open concept living and dining room. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids and so the house had many things to occupy them besides the swimming pool-a trampoline, swing set, soccer/ other outdoor toys and bicycles to explore the nearby vineyards and villages. There are a ton of French books and movies to suite all ages-you don't need to bring anything. It have our kids an opportunity to practice their French!
It is so peaceful and relaxing to be at this place. We ate all of meals outside in the covered terrace and saw the stars at night. There are so many great places to explore nearby from this house.
We had a quick question about the swimming pool and the caregiver of the house arrived quickly within a few minutes and answered our question. He was vey helpful and responsive.
We are already planning to come back from Canada in 2 years. Thank you for an amazing vacation!
