Cayan Tower is undeniably in one of the best locations in Dubai Marina. You are right on the waterfront, within easy walking distance of restaurants, the Marina walk and transport links. The pool area is excellent — well maintained and a real asset to the building. The on-site coffee shop is also very good and convenient.
However, the apartment itself was disappointing.
Cleanliness was below the standard expected in Dubai. The sofa was broken, and basic advertised amenities were missing — despite the listing stating there was a washing machine none was present. That is not a minor oversight; it affects the practicality of a stay.
The promotional claim of “uninterrupted views” is no longer accurate. Since the photographs were taken, Ciel Tower has been constructed directly opposite. It now dominates the skyline and significantly alters what was previously marketed as open views. It also emits noticeable noise at times (likely related to building systems), which may concern light sleepers. There is also a lot of construction in the area, but that is unavoidable in Dubai to be fair.
In summary: the building’s location and facilities are strong. The specific apartment quality and listing accuracy need improvement. Future guests should verify exactly what is included and clarify the current view before booking.
