All Countries next to the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico are experiencing a wave of seaweed. The conditions are dependent on the currents and weather and can determine the usability of the beach club. This vacation rental located in the Beachside complex is the only condo in downtown Playa del Carmen with its own beach restaurant on site. This complex offers the best amenities that Playa has to offer. Please note that the unit sleeps 6 adults with the exception of 2 additional children...One in current bed set up and one in a rollaway bed or crib (additional cost).

This complex includes heated pools. You are allowed the use of BOTH FACILITIES in the Beachside & Oceanfront buildings. The Beachfront (located in the back of the Oceanfront building and is NOT ON THE SAND) AND WHERE THIS UNIT IS LOCATED. is a smaller, more private property. The Oceanside building (located on the sand), is larger and will have more activity - as well as the on-site restaurant & beach facilities. You have full use of the infinity pool overlooking the ocean as well as the beach club.

The resort was perfect. Beautiful, resort amenities but small property with intimate feel. Excellent location for us, as our primary activities were fishing and diving. We used Phantom Divers at the end of the road and we had a great experience. As mentioned, this is close to everything but not loud. Yes, there is sargassum on the beach, but you can still swim and it’s nutritious for fish and attracts the type of fish that are delicious to eat. Plus the cenotes are really where it’s at and a quick drive! Beach front restaurant is nice to have. Our condo was beautiful and the pools were great!

This place is amazing and has everything you need to either relax or get out and about. The condo was immaculate and very comfortable for our 5 night stay. My son loved the pool and hot tub. My parents loved the attached beach restaurant and spa close by. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an all inclusive experience!

Before I say the one major disappointment I had with this listing I will first say that the hotel itself was perfect and as described. Lush landscaping. Beautiful pools. Attentive staff. The unit itself is very comfortable and well appointed with all the essentials. Location could not be closer to everything playa del carmen has to offer. The only drawback is we felt misled by the beach pictures. In the pictures on the listing it shows a large white sand beach with many covered beds that looked great for the family to spend the days. There is no beach near this property. There are no beach beds near to or part of this property. It looks like there was a major storm that eroded the entire beach all the way up to the concrete at the restaurant. There are now only rows of impassable parking for endless fishing and scuba boats. You can not and would not want to enter the water anywhere near this hotel. Go to this hotel for the pool or the location. Do not go to this hotel if you want to spend any days at the beach here.
