The house and setting were lovely. My family had a good stay. We enjoyed the quiet backyard, pool and close walk ability to the walking trail to the Plaza. Parking was easy and spacious for three cars off the street.The information in the listing about air conditioning could have been more clear. The AC portable units in the bedrooms worked well. The portable units in the kitchen and TV room did not offer cooling, only air circulation. The patio area could have used a quick sweep for cobwebs, otherwise they were comfortable and inviting. The kitchen would have benefitted from hot water in the kitchen faucet, it was luke warm even after a long draw and a roll of plastic wrap would have been helpful for food storage throughout the weekend. Thank you for sharing this lovely spot and for the stay.

This Sonoma Hacienda was more than fantastic! Every room of the house(s) and every area of the property was well thought out, user friendly, beautiful and artistically unique. The house and property was very clean upon arrival. The Host provides almost every amenity you could need during your stay. If by chance you would need anything, town is just minutes away. The setting of this property is incredible. It is so quiet and peaceful in the mornings and evenings. Every one in our family enjoyed the experience of this beautiful Hacienda in Sonoma.

This home was lovely! It was clean and had plenty of space for everyone to really spread out. The grounds are SO beautiful and well maintained! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! If you’re on the fence about whether or not to stay here, do yourself a favor and book it.

Our son was the best man and our daughter was a bridesmaid at a wedding in Sonoma, where both the bride and groom were dear friends. Our other son, all their significant others, as well as my husband and I, were all invited guests. The eight of us needed a place to stay where we could all hang out and get ready for the wedding all at once! The house was perfect!

We had an absolutely relaxing stay at this beautiful Hacienda home in Sonoma. It was a charming property. The home itself is spacious and offered a perfect blend of rustic hacienda quirk and modern amenities.The interior is filled with warm, earthy tones. The fully equipped kitchen made It convenient, and we loved preparing charcuterie boards and enjoying them outside on the patio by the fire pit.Location-wise, it couldn’t be closer to downtown. It's just a short drive to Sonoma Plaza, where we found excellent dining and shopping, and the local wineries are all within easy reach. The host was very responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you for having us!

The property was very much like it was advertised - nice gathering spaces and well-stocked kitchen for dishes and cookware. There could have been more towels to fit the number of guests allowed and there were no blankets. For the cooler seasons, some throw blankets would be good. The property is in a nice area with easy access to everything in sonoma. It was nice and quiet at night. We would definitely stay there again.

The place was large and pretty nice. It was dirty though with a lot of bugs, which was disappointing considering the cost. They encourage people to leave the windows open so no wonder about the bugs. The pool was really nice.

We had a great time as a group of 3 couples. House is in an excellent location about a 1.5 mile walk from the square. The walk is lovely as you take a bike path. Host easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had trouble with A LOT of flies by the pool (ended up buying fly traps) but at least they didn’t bite lol.

The house was comfortable for our party of 6. The bedrooms were spacious, the bathroom were also large and fully furnished and there was plenty of room in the dining area and outdoors to socialize. The house is not far from wine country and each morning we would drive to visit several wineries, bring back some great wines, take a swim in the pool and then relax by the firepit. We ate at several great restaurants which were very close by (highly recommend the girl and the fig-practically walking distance). We cooked breakfast each morning and the kitchen is functionally and fully stocked. We would recommend this rental and will definately visit again when we return to Sonoma !!!!

Stayed at this property with a group of friends and it was the perfect house in a great location. Enough bedroom + bathrooms for the group, great outdoor space to hang, lovely pool, and it’s a 30 minute easy walk into the center of town. Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a lovely stay with family. The house was initially not clean and as a result, we had an ant issue but the owner was very responsive to our needs. The house and grounds themselves are just beautiful and well laid out for a family of 8!

The home was even better than we had hoped -- perfect layout as bedrooms were on one side while social spaces were on the other. Perfect for a group that was split between early risers and late sleepers. The grounds were beautiful; the outside seating space comfy; the pool the perfect size for relaxing; the extra bungalow was an added bonus, which I truly enjoyed staying in; the design perfect for the hacienda styling; and easy travel to town (highly recommend El Molino for a quick yummy Mexican meal) and the highways to get out of town. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors nice. We would most certainly book this again for our next visit!!!

We rented the house for my birthday weekend with a friend's family - two couples, two teenagers and our dog. We spent most of the weekend lounging by the pool and eating our meals in the courtyard. The yard is beautifully landscaped and very private. Checkin & checkout were a breeze and the house was very clean. There's lots of space and we loved using the grill to cook. The outdoor shower was a treat and we were so happy to bring our dog. It was a quick ride into town. Would love to come back!

We stayed at the house for three nights while visiting Sonoma for my daughter's thirtieth birthday. The 3 bedroom house is very comfortable for six of us, with an additional private pool house that sleeps two. The backyard is private with a gas fireplace and beautiful pool, which we sadly could not use because of the cool wet weather during our mid February stay. We loved this house, and would happily stay here again during a future Sonoma visit.

Beautiful house and gorgeous grounds! Great location close to the Square but far enough away in a very quiet neighborhood with a feeling of privacy due to the large trees and bushes. Large enough to easily accommodate 8 people with a very well equipped kitchen. Loved having drinks on the patio with the gas fire pit in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again!

My daughter and I flew in from Boise and met my sister from Cincinnati, who was in the area for a conference. We were joined by my nephew and his girlfriend from San Francisco. We had plenty of space and privacy, but wanted to hangout in all of the awesomely decorated shared spaces. There was an issue with an electrical outlet in the master bedroom, but the owner was quick to give guidance on a fix and when that didn't work, he had his handyman there shortly to solve the problem. We cooked breakfast and found the kitchen to be well stocked with the necessary hardware. Our only regret is our weekend was the one of the atmospheric river of rains and cut into our enjoyment of the beautiful backyard and patio. So we are hoping for a mulligan sometime during sunnier skies!

What a beautiful home, close to the square, and the landscaping is gorgeous. The bed was comfortable and there was seating everywhere. It rained heavily during our trip so we probably noticed things others would not have. So much was right but there were some things that put a damper. Two of the three bedrooms in the house were hard to temp. control. The primary shower did not really drain, but sort of filled the tub. The pool house toilet is a bit shaky, and the sink had drainage issues. Mysteriously there were no toilet paper holders in most of the bathrooms and you could see where they had been installed and the feature chalk board wall had no chalk. One of the windows in the primary was broken. Do these things matter in the grand scheme of life? No. Did I wonder about these things because for us this was a big splurge? Yes. The host responded helpfully prior to our rental but promised to get back to me on a kitchen issue - asked about a stand mixer or mixer in general and was told they would check or maybe there was a blender?? Follow through would have been helpful while preparing for our family Christmas tradition of making gingerbread houses.

We had 5 family members together for a 4 day Thanksgiving stay. The home is comfortable and larger then the photos indicate. It felt spacious. The outdoor patio is great. We cooked our Thanksgiving dinner and all the essentials were available. The location was great for us. It is about a 1 mile walk to the town and over half of this is via a paved biking/walking trail. The home itself is in a very quiet neighborhood other then a nearby rooster that served as our alarm clock. We plan to return.

We stayed fir a long weekend with our 3 adult children and significant others.We travel a good bit and this was one of our favorite properties ever. The property is lovely with incredible decor and landscaping. Start your day with a walk through the nearby trail leading to a state park and the Vallejo House. After a day of exploring Sonoma, return to this hacienda for an afternoon swim and then dine out or cook in. Finish your evening with wine and great conversation around the fire pit. Beds, linens and towels await fir a great night’s sleep. We will return!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sonoma Hacienda. We were five Adults and three children under five and we each had our own spaces and were very comfortable. The home was very inviting, with a design and orientation that allowed it to stay cool even in the hottest days without AC - although the bedrooms do have AC if needed. It was located a short distance to the wonderful town square. We also enjoyed the outdoor space for dinner and drinks and the pool was a joy for all with a shallow end for the children. The dinning room was able to open up to the outdoor space by a trifold door, giving us a wonderful indoor - outdoor environment for our meals. The kitchen was very well equipped and all of the appliances worked well. In all we have never had such a lovely home in which to vacation with our family - we highly recommend it for your family!

The Modern Hacienda worked out perfectly for our group of four couples. Todd was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Check in/out was very easy and house instructions were clear. We were out and about exploring the area most of the time but enjoyed the pool in the afternoon and a quiet night cap by the fire in the evenings. Great find!

The setting was like being in a Nancy Meyers movie. The patio, backyard landscaping, pool and casita make this property very charming and private. While in a neighborhood you felt secluded. We wanted to be close to the Sonoma square so this was a prefect walkable location. The home is spacious and accommodated our family of 8 very nicely.

The POOL! Nice and warm on those hot days in April. The location was great and central to groceries, gas, and wineries! The hiking/walking trails were so cool. Just walk out of the front door and find a trail. We will be back!
