About this house rental
Your vacation will start off right in this beautifully renovated 1870’s historic home. It has a light and airy spacious feel throughout. Accents of the area will spark a desire to get out and explore all that Grand Marais has to offer. This home has one of the largest yards and indoor living areas. You are a short 1/2 block from the center of downtown and a 1 block walk to the bay and 2 blocks to Lake Superior. This home was just turned into a rental August 2018 so we’re very happy with our great reviews so far. We do change the feel between summer and winter seasons. There is ample parking for your trailers too. Welcome, your going to love your stay!

We had 6 adults and 1 child for our trip. There was plenty of space for all of us, never bumping into each other. The kitchen is roomy and well stocked. The eating area and living areas were comfortable. The house is less than 1 block from the main street, so it was a very short walk to the restaurants, shops and beach. I would highly recommend this property if visiting Grand Marais.

We loved Big Red! It was perfect for our family vacation. We had 7 adults and 1 baby, and we weren't crowded at all. We loved that we could all gather in the family room at the same time to watch movies and play games. Loved the huge kitchen table for family meals. It was close to everything. We walked everywhere we went. I will be renting from them again, and cannot wait for our next stay at Big Red!
