About this house rental
The shingle house was built in 2011 and consists of a main section that sleeps 4 adults and 3 kids, and a semi- detached guest house that sleeps two adults. The main section provides a large open plan kitchen, dining area, and living room with wood stove. The master bedroom with a French door onto the deck has a master bath with shower and bathtub. Two large open lofts upstairs provide sleeping for three kids on twin beds, with their own half bath immediately at the foot of the stairs. Down the stairs there is a private bedroom and full bath suite with it's own entry from the outdoors. The spacious and airy guesthouse is accessed through a covered breezeway off the main house. It has a queen sized bed and a full bath with shower. The property slopes down steeply through woods and a beautiful meadow to 335 ft of private shoreline. The house location about 90 ft above the lake provides great views and some welcome separation from lakefront bustle. At the shore there is a dock with swimming ladder and also a separate sitting /swimming area with Adirondack chairs, for more gradual access into the lake for small children. Two kayaks are provided. A mooring off the dock can be used for a small boat, which can be launched conveniently at the nearby public access ramp.
Amenities include WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. A washer and dryer are also provided.
