Absolutely lovely place! Everything was wonderful! Quiet relaxing place with plenty of wildlife. Saw a river otter around 7:30am and in the evening sometime going back and forth everyday, Variety of birds, Lots of turtles. Fish right on the bank below the cabin, fire pits both table and ground were great! The bathtub in the master was sooo good. Hot tub amazing. The only thing that was a little uncomfortable was when it got cold and we turned the heat on the upstairs was blistering hot. Only had heat set at like 71-72, which heat rises so I get it but definitely HOT lol Hochatown and broken bow not too bad of a drive, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Only additions/suggestion would be a half bath in the storage room where the hot tub is, and hooks outside on the wall for towels and bathing suits!

We had a great stay at this cabin. I am critical down below, but this was a well kept, clean and fun unit. Checking in and directions to property need a lot better explanation. Perhaps add that it's inside the gated "Retreat" community. Follow the gravel road to the house. Not enough information was given. It appeared to be a private lodge of some sort but I went in anyway and discovered the cabin.We got stuck one evening outside the gate and did not have the gate code. It should be provided with check-in instructions and information. I called the 24/7 number 5 times with no answer. I texted the number and got a response approximately 30 minutes after I sent the text. This is unacceptable. The cabin was very nice. Plenty of dishes and cups. There needs to be a baking sheet and knives that are sharp enough to cut something. I realize it's a rental, but the knives were the worst I've ever used.

New construction and very well done. With new construction there were a few items needing minor repair but not impacting the enjoyment of a wonderful stay. The view of the river was amazing. The patio with TV/outdoor fire features and hot tub were super fun. The responsiveness and attentiveness of the property manager was very nice. We asked the entire family & everyone agreed that we’d all come back to this exact property on our next stay!!! Thank you for having us!!!
