Located in the heart of South Haven, Michigan, our newly renovated (2018) and cozy coastal Summer Haven Cottage is a short walk to town, the beach and kids corner playground.
INSIDE THE HOME:
With 4 bedrooms (3 queen beds) and 1 bunk bedroom (6 twin beds) this home is perfect for a large family or two! It has two full bathrooms, and two spacious living rooms, dining room and fully equipped eat-in kitchen . AC, Wi-Fi, Laundry in basement. Welcome to Summer Haven!

Perfect spot to park and forget! Few short blocks to town center to find all the shopping and eateries and cocktails, and also a few short blocks to the white sandy South Beach and the popular kids splash pad and light houses!

The house was a great fit for my family. Amazing location!! The only downfall was how far the second bathroom is from the master suite on the main floor. We endured!! Kitchen was fully stocked with equipment which meant a lot since we cooked many meals at the house. So many extras like bikes, a beach wagon, lots of outdoor beach toys. The kids loved all the games and toys too!!

Our stay at this rental exceeded our expectations. We were impressed on how clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained the property was. The location was perfect and within walking distance to everything. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed. The host’s communication was prompt and helpful. We created wonderful memories here and will definitely visit again. Thanks again!!

This home worked well for my wife and me, plus our two college-age sons and seven of their friends (11 total). I was somewhat worried the bunk beds would be too small. While the room is decorated for younger children, the young men in this group who slept in that room said it was fine. The group also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the yard and watching NBA playoff games on the TV. (There was enough seating that everyone could see.) A third bathroom would have been nice, but we knew we were only getting two and the upstairs one is quite roomy.The location is an easy walk to both the town center and South Beach. (It was too cold for much in the way of beach activities, but it’s nice to look at the lake.) My wife and I enjoyed biking on the Kal-Haven Trail one afternoon while the boys went to the Michigan Maritime Museum and saw a movie downtown at the Michigan Theatre.

We had a great experience in South Haven and loved staying in this house. We had 5 small kids with us and 4 adults. There was plenty of space, the house was clean, there were activities for the kids, and the location was perfect. We hope to be back in the future!
