About this bed and breakfast
Wine Down Guest House is a new construction, whole house rental. Plenty of off street parking in a quite neighborhood approximately one mile from downtown. Nice comfortable rooms, able to accommodate four people. You will love the decor filled with replicas of Hermann , fully stocked kitchen and patio for grilling. Within walking distance of Stone Hill Winery. Everything is brand new , including appliances, bedding, towels, etc . A security device is covering the parking area and yes, the trolley will pick you up out front..

I highly recommend Wine Down Guesthouse! The property is in great proximity to downtown Hermann, has great parking, is beautifully decorated and well maintained. My husband and I spent the weekend with another friend couple; we enjoyed the fire pit one night and stayed in for a movie the next. We didn't use the kitchen as there are so many delicious restaurants in the area, but the beds were comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and security systems in place gave great peace of mind. I saw in previous reviews that past guests wished for throw blankets, and I agree it would have been nice to snuggle with a fleece while on the couch. However the bedrooms have spare blankets that work in a pinch. Overall we loved our stay and will tell our friends where to stay when they go to Hermann!

The host, Bart, was very easy to contact, and promptly got back to me. The home was very clean, comfortable and relaxing. There is WIFI, a TV with Vizio. If I'm ever in that area again, my husband and I would definitely stay there again. The location is great, it is just a hop, skip and a jump from downtown Herman. However, it is quiet, you do not hear any traffic noise.
