Situated just a few minutes away from the market town of Leyburn, Theaked Stones is a magnificent luxury cottage with stunning views to match. Cosy, welcoming, and very well-equipped, it provides the perfect child and dog-friendly base for exploring the great Yorkshire Dales whether by foot, bike ot car.
Inside Theaked Stones Cottage you will find a stylish and well-equipped bespoke kitchen with breakfast area, electric range oven and hob - perfect for sociable gatherings. With a separate dining room there is ample space for everyone to enjoy an evening meal together in comfort. The cosy sitting room is enhanced by a warming practical gas stove which will ensure a delightful stay no matter what the season. Upstairs there are three timeless bedrooms (a super-king that can be converted into twin beds on request, king and twin room), plus a family bathroom and an en-suite shower room.
There is certainly no shortage of outdoor seating, with tables and chairs situated at the front and back of the property. In the sheltered courtyard to the rear, there is a barbecue ideal for long summer nights. There is also an EV charger outside the property. This charming cottage is complemented by superb views and local culture. Whether you are looking to stretch your legs on a walking holiday, or simply leave the bustle of the city behind to relax your mind in the tranquil atmosphere of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, this hideaway is a special retreat that will you with lasting memories.

Actually that wasn't great. Our dogs are used to grass which there was a small lawn at the front but we had to oversee them as it wasn't secure Our suggestion would be desperately needs a gate which would be great

The Cottage was just like the photos spotlessly clean and so comfy .
The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our stay and they even provided a stair gate which we needed . Everything you could possibly need was available and a wonderful welcome hamper was there for our arrival . The lounge was so comfy it was wonderful to come back on an evening to relax . The cottage is 1 Mile outside leyburn opposite Harmby waterfall which was very pretty . Although there seems room to park 2 cars there were several notices about only parking one but there was plenty of parking seconds away but the neighbours did watch very carefully when we arrived in 2 cars but it’s understandable they may not be happy living next to a holiday cottage and it didn’t spoil our stay . We will be back
