About this house rental
This is an old fisherman's house that we have just renovated for you (July 2017)! Located on the beach, it is designed to spend an unforgettable holiday ... A beautiful stone wall separates it from the beach of Men Meur, protecting you from the eyes. From its terrace, you will see the fishing boats which around 17 hours return to the port to sell their fish. Perhaps you will see dolphins who sometimes accompany them. Of all the windows, the ocean attracts you, so why not go for a swim, the sun has warmed the soft rocks and the water is good.
It's Sunday morning, there's a big market in the main street and you'll walk, since it's next door. But you can also find your langoustines directly on the port, you're still in the right place!
From the street, you will not see much of the house, there is a large wooden gate that you open to enter the property. Once the front door opens, you will be welcome in a large living room open to the ocean with its large windows. A pellet stove will warm you up if you come in winter to admire the storms; you can make good meals in the kitchen enjoying everyone as it is open to the living room. A small corridor will lead you to the bedroom (which has a bed of 160 electric), or the bathroom (with toilet but there is another upstairs) or the mezzanine where two twin beds ensure the sleeping of children or adults. A shower room is hidden behind a door leading to the living room and now go up to see the large room upstairs that overlooks a terrace of madness! the ocean show is waiting for you!

Beautifully located overlooking a small beach and the ocean. We enjoyed the sunny terrace when weather permitted where we would watch the colourful fishing boats come back each afternoon.The house was exceptionally clean and modern, with large open plan living on the ground floor with patio doors to make the most of the sea views. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor, together with a full bathroom with bath and shower above, and separate shower room. There are steps up to a mezzanine level with two beds. From the main stairs there is access to a double bedroom with access to a roof terrace and a further toilet.There is street parking outside, and there is off-road parking for a medium sized car (narrow access). The quiet location is fantastic, you can easily walk a few minutes into town with its bars and restaurants, go and watch the fishing boats or enjoy longer walks. We loved using the house as a base to explore both Guilvinec and the surrounding area.Corinne was a great host and very quick to respond to any queries we had before and during our stay.

We had such a wonderful 2 weeks in Corinne’s beautiful home. The view was incredible. The home was immaculate and had everything you could ask for. We loved it and were sad to leave. The only small criticism is that the lounge was a bit uncomfortable, but certainly didn’t distract from our incredible holiday. We hope to return! We loved Guilvinec too.

It is already for the 5th time we have stayed here ... and it never bores you. The view over the ocean is impressive, fishing boats come in and out of the harbor . always something is different. Walks start nearby, stores, bakery, market, . all within walking distance. The house is nicely decorated and practical and you will find everything you need, from good beds to fully equipped kitchen ... until next time ;-)
