Welcome to La Quinta Del Rey in North La Quinta. This remodeled home includes 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2,000+ square feet of living area, a pool, and a beautiful back patio. The house is a convenient 12 minute drive to the Empire Polo Fields, 4 minute drive to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, 15 minute drive to PGA West, and 10 minute drive to Old Town La Quinta. La Quinta Park is also a 3 minute walk; right around the corner from the house!

Billy is a fabulous host. SO responsive and helpful. We love the huge space in the house and the pool and garden are beautiful.We have spent the last 2 winters here and booked our third stay as soon as we arrived in December.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home for six weeks....and would have stayed much longer if we could!! I can't say enough about this property and the host - almost tempted to keep this our little secret to ensure we wouldn't find ourselves challenged to find this gem available again :). The home is a good size, with ample space for both privacy and spending time together. The home was very clean, and well equipped with household supplies, pots and pans, baking pans and cooking utensils, and we donated a few new smaller pots as well as a coffee grinder.
The home is situated in a lovely, safe, family neighbourhood that is quiet and welcoming (received waves from neighbours regularly). It couldn't be better situated - very close drive (3-5 minutes) to major retailers (Target, Wal Mart), fast food (OML how will I go on with no more access to In-n-Out??!!), lovely restaurants, services and shops (hello, Trader Joe's). A few minutes more takes you to Costco, and a host of other establishments lovely to have close by. Of course, well situated to all that the area and nearby areas have to offer in terms of golf, shopping and other activities/pursuits.
More about the home. We found it to be just perfect, very cosy, and that sofa in the main living room is tough to leave! We spent many wonderful nights hanging out together, sharing food and fun, and catching up on some movie watching together. The backyard and pool area is just magical, feels like a dream to even enjoy the spot from the comfy outdoor sofa or chairs, let alone the joy of swimming or floating in that pool! Ahhh the pool. Seriously, I think back to it ALL THE TIME. There were cheerful birds, and even a hummingbird came by from time to time - what a wonderful place to enjoy a morning (or evening) coffee and watch the sunrise/set. While the house does back on to a road that can be busy during the day, the three waterfalls that run into the pool do a great job of masking traffic noise and, well, contribute to a spa-like experience. Great outdoor seating, a barbeque and fire pit - you're well set up for wonderful days and lovely evenings.
I want to thank Billy, our host, who was very welcoming and responsive with any questions that we had. Billy, we had such a wonderful time at your lovely home, thank you so much!! We're hoping to visit La Quinta again soon, and you can bet we'll be hoping that your place is available :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
