Mountain visit that makes you want to go nowhere. Just enjoy the piece and quiet. Take with you what you need and you are still within 30 minutes of everything you want. Very pleased with this place. Had neighbors but very few

We planed to take a three-day sojourn into Boone, North Carolina, and this was a perfect spot to start the day off. The cabin looks like it has been cut out of an old Fairytale. It has a nice easy to get into and out of driveway that comes off the main road and it's private yet close to everything. The furnishings are rustic cabin and the bed was extremely comfortable. The back porch had a beautiful view of trees and was very relaxing to sip coffee and listen to the birds and the gravel crunching his cars went up and down the mountainside. We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin.

Expected to have a cleaner environment and a bed that would support 2 normal size people. We both rolled into the middle. The kitchen was not clean. The counters had dark film on them when I wiped them off. The bathroom rug was too small and it was dirty. The towels smelled bad and the cabin had a bad musty moldy odor. It is pretty but needs some attention for 200 a night. Thank you.
